I've yet to do my tranny/diff. fluids. Summit Racing is always well-stocked with the necessary Redline stuff, though, if you're inclined to go that route, instead.

As for oil changes, which I also do my own, I get my filters (Purolator PurOne) from Advance Auto, and my GC 0W30 from Autozone, both local.

I haven't called all the 6 dealerships in the Cleveland area just a few. Either they use Vavoline or don't carry the new stuff.

Got my car tuned at Mead today. Much more linear acceleration and I"m happy to say that my car was estimated to make about 280WHP according to Brian. Haven't had a chance to go WOT because of the slush, but 50% made me squeal with happiness. SWEET!@

meglisswrx - what happened to you Friday, 12noon? I was waiting for you in the parking lot at Regal Cinemas for 20mins. Called you, texted you, but you didn't show up with the wheels?

But you posted online here at 12:10pm?

^ +1.

I took both of our Scoobys to get E-Check'ed yesterday afternoon. I had to hurry, as it was getting close to their closing time - and the entire way, I had to fight traffic that was just going too slow. Scooby AWD + winter-tires FTW!

I also had a little fun with my wife's car, on the new Michelin X-Ice Xi2s, in an empty parking lot this AM. It's scary how much speed one can work-up, with purpose-built tires. Good thing they also stop and claw-through slides quite nicely!

I don't know if you're over at Forced4s, Rog, so I left a note for [b]megliss[b] there, too, for you.

^ I thought the "Outback" was a steak house?

ShaneInHisRoom - you're in Heights, right? by the CWRU campus?

Go east on Mayfield, at the intersection of Monticello (turn RIGHT, onto Cumberland, for the entrance into the carwash) will be a carwash. Bring bills and coins, just in case the machines are acting up. IIRC, there's both an automatic one, with underbody wash, as well as the usual high-pressure hoses/self-wash.

My cars usually get the winter-protective coat of permanent road-salt and grime.

^ NP. It's a weird intersection - eastbound on Mayfield, LEFT takes you onto Monticello, RIGHT will take you onto Cumberland, which will get you into the car-wash.

It's an exit-only, for the car-wash, onto Mayfield.

Also, if you've got friends living at the Waldorf Towers, they've got a cold and hot water tap downstairs, in their basement garage. Have the friend living there with you, when you wash, so you don't get any lip.

^ Nice! Maybe I'll go get my car washed, too! Touchless wash?

BTW, Shane, if you're headed out that way, watch out for the red-light and fixed-speed cameras.
