hello fellow Clevelanders. I've probably been spotted by a few of you. im often in the downtown area, brother has a stg 2 OBP LGT and i am in the modded OBP STI.

Looking forward to meeting some other Subaru owners, and checking out some nice cars. all they have in Medina is Cavaliers with vinyl dragons, fart cans, and neon lights.

im starting to see more and more Subarus around though, maybe people finally understand?!!?

HA, whats if up man, i was going to ask you the other day what your NASIOC name was.

im thinking i am a victim of the infamous VF39 wastegate crackage.

oh well, you know what that means... 20g or FP green over the winter.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM MEAD!! I have an STI that has less than 10k on it with what was supposed to be a monster build. After deciding to take it to a reputable shop for a motor teardown, Bolts were missing on the build, compression was bad, and best of all, he charged for a stroker kit install, sleeves, cosworth billet 83mm crank, 105mm cp pistons, Supertech Valvetrain, all of which I just found out was not truly in the motor!!!! It doesn't just stop there, there's more he charged for that isn't in the car! All that was done was new rods & stock sized pistons with the WRONG SIZE rings causing the bad compression. He is a liar, a crook, and an amateur Subaru technician. I will be posting the full story with pictures & paperwork in the dealer review section soon. PLEASE, PLEASE take your cars to someone else...anyone else but Mead! I made a $20k mistake, and don't want to see a fellow Subie owner lose a dime to him if I can help it!

Meatball is a good person that got screwed over. He has had abunch of us over for pizza and beer and wrenching and whatever we really wanted to do.

Lets not let other nice guys like him get ripped off by something low and shady from them.

I respect anyones decision to take their Subaru to Mead, but I'm just warning you. If you are going there for a tune, maybe you'll be just fine (my tune didn't seem to be a problem), but I would not recommend taking a car to anyone that runs a business this way for so much as an oil change. When I get all of the pictures, paperwork and details together I will be posting the full-out detailed story for you to cast a judgment on. I only want to do what's right by warning people of the Subaru community. I am not here to argue anyone's opinion on Mead, I merely want to state my experience and give you guys the heads-up.

This is BS! All I can say is that if thats what you got, something happened in the little over a year time frame between when we put that engine together and what you have! We have spoke on the phone about this before and I told you my thoughts on the car and the previous owner. You know my number and you have a PM.
If anybody else would like to know the story behind this car(Before Meatbawl owned it) Feel free to PM me

Heck yeah. Thats why I say. Some guy at work found out what I've been doing every Thursday and wants to bring his v8. Reluctantly I said yes. Hes a really cool guy though. I bet he won't want to bring it when theres 3 inches of snow on the ground in Dec though. Thats Subie turf. haha.
