LOL... Yeah scby rex, might not last very long.

Hey, UM-WRXer, post up what kind of tow hook you put on this bugeye. That's what I would really like to know. I painted it MBP to match the car and really like it now. Just don't know what the heck kind of tow hook it is.

Nice. The old STi is looking good man.

I need winter tires soon. I'm torn between getting some Rotas or using the stocker wheels for the tires...

So it is the stock tow hook on front of the bugeye? Any more info. I didn't realize there even was a stock tow hook for the front for that location.
I might do the Nukabe rear tow hook. Haven't decided yet.

Anybody else, post up your tow hooks if you like.

^^ from this thread: Brainchilds black wrx.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ghlight=nukabe

Sorry, keeping things back on topic.....Black with red accents is hot! I miss a black car so so much. The realsubydude, you should be praising Silversurfer cause i bought the car off him! He did most of the mods on this car, i took the easy way out and got it this way .

But Silversurfer, the tow hook is stock and i actually still have the stock painted cover that goes over the hole. Ill send it out to you.

The 07 also has the same tow hook/tow hook location. You can see it right next to the fog cover on my pic above. I was thinking of rockin mine for a bit .

is there any way to have the front tow hook on the 06/07s without having to cut into the bumper?

^^ hahaha yea if you want it for looks alone, just glue it to your bumper.

If you want it to be functional, you'll need to attach it to the frame or bumper support, thus cutting into the bumper skin for correct mounting.

The rear tow hook can be mounted in the stock location(like the white 06 above), just take off the oem hook and attach the nukabe (may need mouting plate for attachment points).

Whoa.. Brainchild's WRX looks badazz! And so does that white WRX.

I'll have to take a pic of mine and see if you like it painted to match MBP...

I ended up welding a bracket onto the car on the left side of the intercooler and dilled 2 holes and bolted the tow hook on. seems like it would work great, But i still want to get some super nice bolts for it. as for the rear hook, it just mounts to the stock tow hook and acts like an extender.
