I think it looks perfect as is... you won "Top Scoob" with it. You must have got something right

Leave the exterior alone, just make it faster if anything

Nah the lighter tint looks bad, he originally sent me that by accident.

Other than possibly removing the window tint, the exterior is staying as is. Although once I get a truck and trailer (hopefully soon), the tow hitch will be removed in favor of a rear diffuser. I haven't decided which one but I'm leaning towards Varis since it's pretty low key and very functional.

I'm going to VIR this weekend so I'll have some new in-car footage and hopefully some pics for you all early next week

Thanks folks! After last weekend at VIR the car is up on stands in the garage for some updates over this weekend. Nothing major, just moving some stuff around in the engine bay and removing some other things for weight savings. When all is said and done I'll probably remove about another 60 lbs. from the car.

I'll post some pics of the updated engine bay, as well as in-car video from last weekend. Check back tomorrow

Here's some video from last weekend at VIR. The car felt pretty good, although it was clear that my R888's are heat cycled well beyond the point of having good grip. The one thing that annoyed me a lot was the traffic. I think it's silly for an advanced run group to have so few passing zones, although there were also some instances of people simply not watching their mirrors. But anyways, enjoy the videos and comments/suggestions are welcome. No pics of the engine bay today, it rained all day...maybe tomorrow.

Hey congrats, Dan! Now, that's what a nicely prepped track STi should be. I imagine it's been very reliable your careful preps. Any boost issues with the setup, on let's say, hotter days?

Well...yes and no It's usually pretty reliable on the track but every once in awhile I have stupid little issues. A couple weekends ago I somehow managed to blow the front o2 sensor clear out of the exhaust manifold. I also have melted the vacuum line from the bcs to the wastegate several times. But that's how these cars work, you figure things out through trial and error. I replaced the o2 sensor and I have a braided stainless line on the way for the wg. Over this winter I plan to go through the car and do what I can to make it as reliable as possible for next year.
