Here are a few samples I got off the photo company's site...they are obviously small and low res but I don't want to pay for the full versions

I'm not sure when the car will be back on track, but I doubt I'll be at the nasa event. I'll probably do VIR in november and that will be it for the year. I didn't lower the car, it probably looks that way because all of the pics are taken from the side that's loaded

Here's some more in-car from last weekend, stupid youtube made me split it into 3 parts...

Dan, what's up with the brake ducts in the bumper? I can't even tell if those are just modified foglight bezels or what. If they're not and you didn't tell me then you suck

They are Kaminari duct inlets (FRP version) that I had painted. They are kind of a pain in the ass because you have to hack up a pair of stock covers and attach these to them. I used double sided body tape but it didn't hold that well so I'll either screw or rivet them.

^I thought those looked new. I was able to say he never had those before. Car is still looking awesome.

You're going to be at the IAG meet right? I'd like to sit in your seats if that's cool and see how they feel.

So after getting my car corner balanced a couple months ago and realizing it weighs close to 3300 lbs, I knew some weight reduction was in order. The car is still a street car so obviously I'm a bit limited in what I'm willing to do, but that might change before next season

For now, I'm just going through the car when I have spare time and removing things I don't need or use. This past week I removed all of the stock seatbelts, the latch system, and the windshield washer tank. Since I don't use the i/c sprayer, I connected that hose to spray the windshield. I haven't weighed everything but I'd say I removed at least 30 lbs. total. I also moved the catch can over to where the washer bottle was to clean up the engine bay a bit.

In addition, I have melted through the rubber hose that goes from my BCS to the wastegate 2 or 3 times now. I got fed up with it and decided to replace it with a braided stainless line. I also began gathering the parts to replace my AVCS line with braided stainless. Here are some pics:

Lots of seatbelt stuff:

Updated engine bay:

Catch can closeup with the bracket I threw together:

Line going from BCS to wastegate. It's a short rubber hose going to the BCS, which is connected to the SS line going to the wastegate:

Still looking for more ways to reduce weight, I'll eventually go all out and remove the a/c, sound deadening, etc. but for now it's just little stuff.

Looking very good. I love the engine bay. What catch can? Also, is it 3300 lbs with or without you?

Thanks, it's an Element Tuning catch can. Unfortunately it's 3300 lbs. without me But it was weighed in street trim...my track wheels are lighter and I remove everything from the glove box, console, trunk, etc. at the track. So in track form and with the recent reduction, it's probably down under 3200 lbs. without me in it. Still some work to do though.

I completed a little project today. I've wanted some extended rebound adjusters for my T2's for awhile now but I never got around to making them. I finally ordered the parts earlier this week and they came today so I threw them together. I used the following parts:

http://www.acehardwareoutlet.com/(ow...px?SKU=2099844

and

https://www.surplussales.com/ShaftHa.../Knobs-13.html

It was very easy and took about 10 minutes to make them. I just cut off the top of the wrenches with a hacksaw and the knobs attached with set screws. I put a dab of loctite on the bottom to hold it in the adjustment hole and then relatched the seat. I really like how they came out, and in total they cost less than $10 to make.

I hate waiting for parts, I wish real life was like the fast and the furious and everything was in stock locally. "I need 2 of the big ones. And Harry, I need it by tonight"

Negative but shipping was cheap. Annoyingly enough though the knobs cost $2 each but the place has a $10 minimum so I ordered a bag of 15" zip ties as well.

Saw this car at the IAG meet today. Actually talked to Dan for a bit. Real cool guy. If you think the car looks clean in pictures it stands up to that in person. Those stoptechs look amazing on the car.

I've been wanting to see how the recaro seats feel too and Dan was cool with me trying them out.

Can't wait to see what's next for this thing.
