Default trouble getting into reverse

its hard to get my car into reverse. is this transmission trouble clutch problems or just semi normal??(dont think so) i can get it in but sometimesi jsut got to let the clutch out again and try to put it in

if you're having trouble getting into reverse, go forward a little and put it back into reverse easily. this is completely normal for many of us owners' specifically on wrx's i believe.

OMG im stoked i thought that my tranny was screwed up or something and i jsut bought the car. yah it goes in easy if i roll back a little or go forward.

also, try throwing it in 4th and then into reverse. always works for me

A much easier solution:

As you're trying to push it into reverse, put a little pressure on the shifter and slowly let off the clutch. Just before you hit your friction point, it will slide into reverse like butter every single time.

i double clutch every shift . do some more reading on your tranny you will see it has issues
