Default Ebay all aluminum radiator?

My stock radiator cracked. I don't really want to spend $400 on a brand new radiator that will eventually crack again. I don't want to spend $100 on a radiator that's going to crack at any time (IE, used stock radiator). I did find an all aluminum radiator on ebay with a 3 year warrenty for $220 shipped. Worth it, or not? Car is totally stock.

I do believe that every post I read says "don't buy from ebay". If you have a $25000 car, and you can't spend $400 on it for a problem that is highly unlikely to happen again, then spend the $220 on the cheaper version. Otherwise, seek out a replacement that you know it's coming from a reliable dealer

I'll check the vendors, then. I doubt I'll find a radiator for $220 though. And money is really tight right nwo for me, since the damn dealership is ****ing me over making me make two car payments, including payments on a car I don't have anymore.

^ How is that possible that you are paying for a car that your don't have? If you lost it in an accident, wouldn't your insurance company have paid for it?

I got the Mishimoto when my rad cracked and it's a very good deal. Fitment is A+, very easy install, and it looks and cools great (even noticeable on gauge).

The only down side was the cap was crap, but I replaced with jdm sti cap from sojdm.com, 22 bucks, cant go wrong.

I'm in the same boat as chi-san. Radiator took a dump and i've been out of my car for almost two months. So far i've tried these places for the mishimoto and jvtr aluminum radiator for 02-07 wrx and they are sold out of everything under $350: jnztuning.net ebid.net gotjdm.com erzperformance.com autozconcept.com.
I talked to a guy working for jnz tuning yesterday and he told me that he talked to a guy working at mishimoto and he said a guy in Singapore recently bought every mishimoto radiator for 02-09 wrxs, stis and every evo radiator they had in stock. On top of that the guy wanted the next 15 they popped out of the factory. It may be awhile before some of the vendors even get them in.

Isn't 'mishimoto' the made up name for a type of tyre from the original F&F ?? Like mosat sensible people I don't own a copy of the movie so can't check it.. but I swear that was the name they made up.

If your going to spend the money and worry about quality, why not spend a bit more on a Koyo and not worry..

if it's not insured, there's no insurance company to pay for it. maybe that's why...
