Default 2006 2.5i WRX n/a to turbo

Hi, I'm about to purchase a WRX 2.5i and was really looking forward to forced induction but I got a little overzealous and forgot that the 2.5i's were n/a, it's only got 15,000 miles on it, so what parts would be required to turbocharge it and are there any other requirements needed, most likely an ECU reflash? etc.. I'm coming from a honda so I know little to nothing about Suby's, or would it be cheaper to swap the motor for an already turbocharged 2.5?

Definitely not worth your time to turbo a 2.5i block. You should look into doing a swap.

it would be significantly cheaper and easier to sell your car and buy a 02 wrx

I would recommend a swap before turboing but in the case that you REALLY want to you would need:

Turbo manifold
Intercooler setup
Turbo peripherals (bov, coolant/oil lines, etc.)

That list by no means is exhaustive and doing it right the first time is costly and not really worth the effort. Safe boost is doubtfully higher than 8psi on a good day and that would net you close to WRX power with a decent tune.

I don't wanna discourage you but there are better platforms for what your looking for and most of them happen to be forced induction from the factory.

The N/A EJ25 can't handle boost levels even near stock WRX settings, according to historical experience around here. I agree that going with a swap, or since you have an '06 with good resale, just selling and buying an older WRX would be smarter.
