Default have boost problem with cobb stage 2 map or PDX maps

so i have checked everthing on my car and can't find what is stopping me from getting boost. the peak boost is about 11.5psi. there is no boost leak at all on my car. but after i took off the blitz electronic boost controller off my car and put on the stock boost solenoid back on reflash the car with cobb ap......it's not hitting target boost at all with stage 2 map or the PDX map i bought online. the PDX just give me like a 0.5-1 psi more then cobb's map. the PDX people said i would be hitting at about 18-22psi with their map. has anyone has the same problem can help me?

here is my list of mod
UR crank pulley
K&N typhoon short ram
HKS bov
HKS header
HKS up
stock turbo ported wastegate
Helix catless dp
Espelir full 3" catback
stock intercooler

Thanks,
Alvin

Please PM me if u know how to fix this problem.

How much boost were you getting with the Blitz boost controller?

i have tried making it to 1.1 bar of boost which is about 15.9 psi with no problem. but after i hooked up the stock solenoid back and flash the cobb PDX or cobb stage 2 ots maps, the max i get is 11.5psi now. and one more thing, i get a lot of turbo lag from the PDX map i am running now when my car starts in the morning when the engine is cold. after it warms up it's fine without turbo lag maybe a little.

It's probably that ported wastegate
Looks like they'll need to add some more WGDC for you to achieve the targeted boost.

I ported my vf34 and had trouble hitting target boost on the vf34 base map. I first checked for boost leaks and when I didn't find any I tried the helper spring mod (9.5 lbs spring attached to the wastegate arm and the other end to the wastegate actuator). Worked like a champ. I'm hitting 16.9 lbs now.

since cobb calls for either their intake or the stock intake, that might not hurt.

i was running too lean w/ a cel and switched back to the stock intake and its been fine since. different problem, but could have the same solution.

i will put my cai back on when i get a protune. until then, the stock intake is fine and should cause less problems.

Not sure if you tried this or not but my car had a problem hitting target boost on the cobb stg 2 map, I called cobb and they said to try the high wastegate duty map and my car has been boosting fine since then.

^I have tried that with the K&N tyhoon short ram intake and it was the same.
i just changed the stock intake box with K&N drop in filter and it seems to run smoother than the PDX map with the short ram. if i don't hit targete boost, i will try the high wastegate duty map.

thanks for another reminder

I would put the stock intake back on and reset the ECU. If your car is boosting 11psi which is mechanical wastegate pressure then something isn't right. Either with the mapping, mechanical problem or maybe your car is knocking like hell.

IF you checked for boost leaks and even a leak down test to make sure your motor is good then next step would check your wastegate actuator and make it's working properly.

Have you tried uninstalling the AP from the car? That will tell you if it's the mapping with the AP or if it's mechanical. You hitting 11PSI is not good man, it sounds mechanical to me.
