Thumbs up Unorthodox Racing Pulley for XT6

It's finally here after four long, tiresome, gruesome months (Nov. 1st, a stock pulley was sent in) of waiting.

The UR pulley is unable to be weighed on a typical bathroom scale because it's so light. It is less than .5 lbs vs the stock pulley's weight of 3 lbs.

Measuring from one side of each pulley to the other, the stock pulley measured 5 3/8ths inches or 13.6525 Centimeters. The UR pulley measured 4 3/8ths inches or 11.1125 Centimeters across. I don't know if any of this is useful information to any of you or not but I figured someone might ask.

Here are a few pics of the two pulleys.

I have no dyno numbers or 1/4 mile times at this time. The dyno shop I called doesn't have an opening until next week. I'm REALLY anxious to get this on so I can't make any promises. If you are interested, give Joe Menechino a call at Unorthodox Racing. He may still have the 'settings' available to make another one for your XT6. It would've been cool if it actually said Unorthodox Racing on the pulley but it doesn't. Oh well! I'm still pretty happy right now.

Thumbs up To whom it may concern

Got the pulley installed earlier today. I haven't really noticed any difference in throttle response or acceleration. It is raining outside so I can't really 'gun' it off the line. Besides, it's difficult to notice any difference in power in the pulley because it's across the powerband.

When I get a chance to go to the track again, hopefully I will see some better times.

Looks like a nice, quality piece. I'm sure once you get the chance to really get on it, you'll notice slightly better throttle response and pickup off the line. Good luck, and keep us posted!

Just out of curiosity, what other kinds of mods to you have on the car? Was it you that had GC8 RS suspension on and was cleaning up at atuocrosses?

I think you are referring to Mike (Paisan) here. He's the one kicking booty in the autocross.

My mods as of now:
JC Sport Intake
Dynomax Ultra Flow SS muffler
Custom 2.5" cat back piping
Apexi SAFC
MSD fuel pump
Unorthodox Racing Pulley
Zex Nitrous kit
Upgraded Benchmark Tranny with Valve Body
*Later today* ProECM Powerchip

Some tapping noise on the right side of my engine I think may be cause for some power lose in the car. Once I get that resolved, I think the true 1/4 mile numbers will start to surface. We'll see!
