Default 2004 USDM STI with JPN head+cosworth hi-cam??

My car is 2004 USDM STI. I recently built a new EJ257 bottom end with JPN ver 7 head + cosworth hi-cam (US SPEC as its sensor type is Hall effect). Here is the problem, the new block operates poorly in idle. Iginition system seems not working right. We have checked everything but still with no luck. I have been told that the iginition and AVCS for USDM STI share one sensor, while JPN SPEC are separated in 2 sensors. Is it possible the reason that causes the trouble? Please share your experience, thanks.

Maybe you should get the car tuned?

The idle runs very bad, and i am not sure it's the tuning problem or the head spec problem.....I just have to confirm this first. Thanks.
