Yea, 295/35 is going to be too tall if you are lowered at all. You want to keep the diameter of the tire around 25" or so (which is what the stock diameter is). I had 275/35/18 on for a bit and this measured in at 25.6" and were too tall. I rubbed on everything when trying to turn.

295/30/18 is almost exactly 25" depending on the brand and I have no issues anymore.

'97 Legacy w/ 245/40-17 Hankook Z214s on 17x8.5" +44 CE-28s. Fenders are rolled at both ends. The rears rub the fender lips pretty good on track, so I probably need to do a more thorough job of flattening the lips.

Many people have ran a 275/40/17 which is the same overall height, it's possible but it requires a good bit of work especially with a 10" wheel.

Is this a hawkeye wrx or sti? You're going to need a lot of camber, and we'll need to know your offset choice.

Are you trying to tuck the tire? Ok with a high ride height to keep the tire off the fender? looking for a performance setup?

It really depends on what your needs/requirements/wishes/uses for the car.

Its A Wrx, And The Offset Is +35, I Do Not Want To Tuck The Tire Because I Do Not Plan On Slamming The Car, Not My Thing, And Im Not Really Looking For Great Performance, Its More Of A Style Choice, Just The Type Of Look That I Like

Your going to be doing alot of pulling and rolling to get a 275 to fit. I ran a 275 on my sti and had some serious fitment issues even after some pulling and rubbing/grinding. Even with 255's i have some issues from time to time with rubbing. Is having that size tire worth the cost to the car is the question i have for you.

Reguardless you may want to direct questions to Teh Clap and see what his input is, hes a great reference for fitment questions.

Can you turn caps lock off?

We should probably take this off the Meaty Tire Thread so it can get back to it's pics.

You're welcome to shoot me a PM or email and we'll go over it.

Yup, 275s aren't easy to fit. It's possible though. I don't think it's a good idea on a 5 speed though due to the extra gearing. Hopefully we'll figure something out.
