255/35/18 Nitto Invo Tires

Work Emotions XT-7-18x9.5 +38.. Could probably run a lil wider tires, need to pull fenders though. Fenders in front and rear have been rolled. I need new coilovers to really show these wheels some love....

the wheels will be CCW classics in 18x10 +35 rear and a custom offset in the front (need to finalize measurements). Mock ups are rota grids 18x10 +35. i"ll be pulling the f-out of the rear and will do a 06+ STI rear end conversion with arches over the 04 STI rear end that i currently have now. The front will be tricky. if all else fails, ill be installing wider front fenders as the wheels poke way to much and my clearance is minimal. camber in the pic is at -1.7 (shooting for -2.0)

Does anybody know if a 255/40/17 on a BBS 07 STi, rubs on the inside? Stock Struts I mean.

255/40 on the stock BBS 17s have been many times already. There are no issues with it rubbing the strut. Its the rear fenders that will need a slight pull.

probably 235. 245 is the widest you can go on a 8" wheel without really pushing it. 235 will give the tire less bulge than a 245, which would be better for handling; less tire roll.

However, on the contrary, I am running 235's on a 7.5" wheel and a profile as low as 40, stiffer sidewalls; seems to be perfect.

If it was me though, I'd go for 245 because its wider lol

Wow, all these tiers make my Falken Azenis 235/40R17 seem narrow.

Not much really...a tiny bit of rear camber, and my fenders are slightly rolled. If they weren't, they wheels would still fit fine. The only clearance to watch is strut.

+1 what he said.

just remember if you autocross, 18x8 and 245 is the limit, any wider wheels/tires and you go up a class.

No spacers required. I'm running the same tires on stock STI wheels with pink springs. No issues at all.

I'm right up in your same alley, and I can say a 235 on an 8" width is not meaty.

You need to be at a lower offset, 18" wheels and not 8" wide...
