Surprised no one mentioned t3h_Clap's STi. He's running 275/40/17 V710s with 1710 CCW Classics custom made. Heres a link to his blog with his wheel/tire setup....http://t3hclap.com/archives/40

I just put on some 295/35/17 Hoosier A6's on 17x9.5 SSR wheels

I'll definitely have to raise my car a bit, and pull the fenders (dunnojack are you out there??) but otherwise they fit about as good as I could hope for

Sorry I don't have pics, but I will once you guys help me out a bit.
I'm looking at buying 17x8.5 rims, but what size rubber should be on them?
255 or 265 with 40? I haven't lowered the car yet, but am planning on 1.5" all around.
Also, what are some you you FLUSH guys running for offsets? Thanks.

What is meaty for a GC? I have 235s and I think that would be equivalent to a 255s on the GD bodies (they are a few mm from strut and fenders). but 235s on 17x8 arent that "meaty".

everyone with 255's on stock suspension/wheels, what does your strut clearance look like? 'cause i just mounted 255/40 yokohamas on my stock '06 sti and while i'm not rubbing it's extremely close in the rear, like 1mm close. i just want to compare to someone else who has my setup.
