Even if you're rub free I wouldn't say that "fits", if you're happy with it more power to you.

It appears you're poking from the fender in the rear and very minimal fender clearance. With your suspension setup I wouldn't be surprised if you rubbed during compression. Have you pushed the car at all?

How are your clearances with the front bumper and the lower spring perchs?

Any rubbing on the fenders while cornering?

I'm still curious to see more photos of your clearances and your fender work you did.

(psst, it's still the wrong size. the 255/45/17 requires excessive work for no good reason other than to psst at someone. ).

Ive driven the car about 50 miles. Only major dips cause rubbing. The feners were rolled with a slight pull.

Btw the tires werent put on to prove someone wrong. It because my previous tires were toast.

I accidently ordered a 255/45/17
When i ment to order a 40.

Id rather put these on and see if they fit (which in my case they do.) than send them back with freight shipping and wait a month to get tires.

I still have some more work to do on the fenders to stop the rubbing.

He's saying a 40 sidewall. 255/40R17 is the proper size tire, 45 is too tall. Wrong kind of meaty..

i'm guessing you're not actually in Texas at the moment? Why would it take a month to get tires?

In my initial post I was hoping you could still change the order, guess we were too slow to reply.

you crazy? 255 is far too high of a number for 95% of the church thread.

Question for you guys, Im looking at some 18x9.5 +35 wheels and am looking to slap the stock rubber on them. Given a stock to mildly lowered GRB hatch will this setup require a fender roll/pull? Is the +35 offset too aggressive?

He means the top of the wheel well because your tires are too TALL. it ought to smack against the roof of the wheel well a lot

i wanted something to poke out, i was going to jump on the hellaflush wagon or stretched and poked w245/40, but ended up with 275/35. it handles as i expected, very grippy and stable but had to raise the car 1" and-2 camber all around
