Default 07 exhaust

Hey guys,
i got a wrx exhaust from one of the guys on here and the axle back works fine. But i got the cat back, mid pipe or whatever its called (dont know exhausts very well) but the pipe is shorter then my 07 impreza's. Any help ? there was like a 5 inch gap..

I had the same problem and just had a custom mid pipe built

run just the axle back then i dont think that mid pipe will really do much anyways

ya, thats what i did. its on the car right now. Ill post a pic on my lunch. Looks much better now. Thanks alot man. The mid pipe that you sold me is a bit bigger in diamiter that the stock one i got, so i might try to get an extension but i would like somone who has somthing like it give me some input.

When we had the 05 RS, we put the WRX/STi midpipe on it had to be custom welded. Shouldn't cost more than $40 at any muffler shop. If you wants pics of what he did I can post those.

It came about 5" short. I just had him cut teh resonator off and weld a pipe from there on to the cats. He did have to use the stock RS flange so it would line up.



and this is how far it stuck out after.



and then it was totalled a week later I got it done at Master Muffler near downtown, guys name was Gabe I think. If you go there use cash only

do you remember how much they charged you for that? Would having that mid pipe change the sound or performance of my car?

It will make it a bit louder if you are removing the resonator.

eric this is the route you need to go. mike forsure had that done right! it should also give your car a little bit of sound.

i had the same problem... the n/a is different because it doesn't have the down pipe.

$40, with the resonator out and the midpipe in makes it sound deeper. maybe a little difference in performance but maybe like 2 or 3 HP.
