Default ebay front mount intake used for blow thru maf?

Has anyone tried using the intake that comes with the ebay front mount kit as a blow thru maf housing? I'm talking about the turboxs knock off kit. I'm looking to go to blow thru and have that piece laying around. Ever seen it used for that? Of course it will need to be sealed and made into something usable first.

If you say it won't work please provide reasons. thanks.

You can. You'll need to make the straight section longer than that intake in order to straighten the air flow. I maxed out the 2.5" diameter so I had to custom make a 3" one.

What power were you making when you maxed out the 2.5" one? I plan to make some type of air straitener if i do this.

My car isn't going to be anything crazy, your basic stage 2 + front mount, 800cc injectors, fuel pump, blow thru mass air flow and an E85 tune

stock vf39 turbo.
