Default nj: 96 turbo impreza 1.8

VIN: JF1GM2251TG411951

I got a WRX for dirt cheap thats mint and is waiting on an shortblock..I need a nice daily driver thats going to be kept stock and the wrx fills that void. Im gauging interest as of now b/c I need to drive it in the mean time while the wrx gets fixed.

Id love to keep this but it just doesnt make sense and my parents arent gonna let me keep 2 cars so..this ones gotta go, and I need something I can count on as I work full time and go to school. and i would rather ride streetbikes and dirtbikes and party my ass off then work on cars for fun.

Specs (will be updating later)
96 coupe
ej18e shortblock (around 100K miles)
ej22t heads (70K miles)
ej205 headgaskets
td04 turbo (7 lbs)
erz up pipe
invidia bellmouth d/p - this will be swapped out for a HKS D/P, it doesnt make a differnence as i probly fart more boost then a td04, especially at 7 lbs. perfect if you want to go EWG and let everyone know your driving a slowbaru!silverline mid to catback (3 inch)
stock injectors
jdm sti gc8 turbo x-member
gold usdm wrx rims
5 speed
1998 RS Seats
glowshift boost gauge
ebay fmic, core painted black..sleeper
126xxx miles <-updated

The problems with it are the front o2 sensor harness thingy got melted, the rear passenger side window..the rubber pieces are kind of falling off but it can be fixed easily and the spoilers paint is faded bad.

Passed nj inspection w/ flying colors a few months ago..I drive it everyday, runs fine. The td04 only opens up to about 5 lbs of boost, 7 when its stood on so I havent had any problems with it really..its gonna need EMS if you plan on cranking up the boost. It gets 25 mpg, i always ran it on super, no pinging at all and no CELS..despite the fact its fully catless
I was going to get an emanage ultimate for it but I want to get rid of it now. This is the ultimate project swap car because the shell is in GOOD condition, the paint isnt perfect but there is NO rust, which is amazing considering it was a PA car. It also has a JDM STI turbo x-member and a full catless turbo exhaust system so you're getting a good ass deal for a swap car IMO since all you need to do is get the harnes merged and drop th engine in.

The jdm sti xmember lets you use the regular 93-01 control arms..from what i read, if you use a GD x-member out of a wagon it will work on the coupes and if you use a wrx sedan x-member the control arms need shimming..this isnt the case though. i was told its a jdm sti cross member but it doesnt really matter as its the same thing as a USDM turbo legacy cross member..

just add some suspension and you're good to go and you have a sick light track car

I will get alot of close up pics by this weekend. any questions feel free to ask..I have nothing to hide and am 100% honest.

I would really like to do a straight up trade for a newer 600cc sportbike, liek an f4i or a gixxer600 or 750, r6 or 636..etc. I might be willing to add $$ on my part for the right bike..I would like it to be fuel injected.

No car trades unless its an ae86 or a bugeye RS..and the chances of that happening are slim to none.

3500 obo ..VERY negotiable on price. Please PM me if interested.

what year is the wrx motor? the 2.5 hybrid swap is ghetto unless you do it right and get cams + low comp pistons. but i suppose i could grab a few hundred for the S/B

im really looking for cash though..im over working on cars as i have other things going on in my life right now and working on cars isnt something i like to do.

i got some dude wanting to trade me his gixxer600 but i already have a bike..hmm decisions decisions.

and please guys im not hard up for money so dnt try to low ball me too bad. i know better then to bury myself in debt
