Sometimes the plug has to be purchases separately and it is available thru Subaru. Otherwise you have to splice into the harness.

Unless they eliminated it at some point, it certainly should - the OEM optional trailer hitch comes with a wiring kit that connects to a 6 pin connector on the vehicle wiring harness, then goes out to the trailer (it looks like it's a two part harness) - in the manual I am looking at, the 6 pin connector should be in the passenger side back corner (under the trim) - it shows one harness (which comes with the hitch) that goes from there and then is secured to the back of the "trunk" area under the trim, then a second harness which connects to that and feeds through a grommet in the floor to the trailer hitch itself (that must be the part which connects to the trailer) - I would think any dealer could look up the part number for the component parts of an option kit (if they are broken down that way)

Go to you're dealership(subaru) of choice. Go to the parts dept. Give them this part number (L1010SS030). They should give you the plug in harness.
