Subaru Stars FS: JDM STi V8 Gauge Cluster

Hi,

For sale is the JDM STi V8 Gauge Cluster. Cousin bought me this as a gift but
he forgot my Suby is 05 STi...so looking for a quick sale.

Condition
- 9/10, 100% working perfectly, as my cousin tested it in HK before he visited.
2 minor scratches as you can see in the pic...brand new lens is around $15
- Sitting @ 27,000 km
- Same look and function as the OEM STi gauge cluster,
except it is 8,000 rpm redline, 180km limit (JDM Yo!)

Actual Pic:

It is just a perfect JDM update for bugeye or Peanuteye WRX, USDM STi, or maybe even GC:

- 02-03 Bugeye, PnP, Attach 1 wire (check below)
http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sho...hlight=cluster
- 04 STi, PnP
- 04-05 Peanut Eye, PnP
- 04-07 FXT, I think PnP as I saw some DIY threads
- GC, you can do a search, tons threads about the conversion
- 05+ STi, sorry, NO GO, back connector is different

SOLD!!...

Thank you for looking.

^ I think it is doable... I am told that one of the connectors (gauge cluster has 3 connectors) is different at 05+ STi... However, I'd suggest not to touch it since it is an electronic part, unless someone is confident to do so...

^^ the reason for that is 05+ STi has immobilizer build in as a security light on cluster...

I know you can always go faster Ryan, even the gauge stops at 180km...
Both EDM and JDM V9 260km, but V7, V8 JDM have 180km

the rev shaft lets you pick when you want the "shift" light to come on.

180kmh is way more then plenty on our streets and if your over that I hope its track only, in which case it doesn't matter.
