Default 5th gear need help!

Need help when I hit the gas in 5th gear it accelerates but my RPM shoots way up and it smells like burning but if I turn the car off and back on the problem stops does that mean I need a new clutch or is there some thing else wrong

Exactly.

Wasnt offering any services (in fact, I made it clear that I wasnt going to do it)

Didnt offer any parts

Sounds like someone who doesnt pay for a vendor acct is butthurt. I hope they know how incredibly pointless it was. I got no points, I got nothing for it. (well, just "hey use your vendor acct")

Even the mod thought is was idiotic that they reported it

Whoever you were, enjoy your fail, we are all (including the mod) are laughing at you.

I do know better, which is why I didnt do anything remotely close to vending.

I could see it being shady if I was offering anything, like the services of installing it, but

A. I made it very clear I wasnt up for doing it
B. Meant FREE/for beer.

And if I WAS going to do it (post vendy type stuff) I would have just posted it under my vendor acct, which was open in my other browser.

weird *shrug*

Got more back story.

It wasnt in this thread.
It was this
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1596428

I guess the person didnt know I was a vendor. Innocent enough mistake, but considering that I even said who I was in that post, its funny that they still didnt know.
I had even posted in that thread under my vendor acct. 2+2=9?

*shrug*
