Default FS: WRX rear diff., WRX rear axles, STI 5-speed SS w/ bushings, STI trailing links

Looks like everyone and their chiropractor is selling 02 WRX transmissions lately...

Anyways, I'm going to try my luck at selling my drivetrain after a six-speed swap.

Parts for sale:

1. 02 WRX transmission with 80k mi. on it. It does not come with the rear O2 sensor, reverse/neutral, and vehicle speed sensor harness. Well, the rear O2 sensor harness is still there but one side of the connector is broken from when I pulled the transmission. If you are replacing a broken transmission in your WRX, you can reuse everything that you have (clutch fork and pivot shaft is also included). The transmission is in flawless condition and was never beaten on or tracked. I used it as a daily driver and have never launched or dropped the clutch on it. I shift granny-style and everyone who knows me can vouch for it. I can provide references if you want. The fluid drain plug did not have any more than the normal amount of metal shavings on it when I drained the transmission prior to removal. Sold

2. R160 3.54 F.D. rear differential with 80k mi. on it as well. Condition is just as good as the transmission as described above. The driveshaft mounting plate on the differential is not included however. I reused the mounting plate for my six-speed swap with an automatic driveshaft. You can reuse the mounting plate from any non-STI Impreza. Asking $250 for the rear differential.

3. WRX driveshaft with 80k mi. on it. Not much else to be said about the driveshaft. Asking $150 for the driveshaft.

4. Four axles - two female fronts, and two male rears. All are in good condition with 80k mi. on them and do not have torn axle boots. Asking $75 for each axle but would at least like to sell them in pairs. Only have the rears left.

5. Four 5X100 knuckles and hubs - the front two are theoretically 04 STi knuckles but should work for any WRX and the rear are regular 02 WRX knuckles. The fonts have 40k mi. on them and the rears have 80k mi. on them. All wheel bearings are in good working condition. The rears don't come with the e-brake assembly. Sold

6. Clutch slave cylinder from an 04 STi but should work for any pull-style clutch, i.e. all STIs and 02-05 WRXs. The slave cylinder has 40k mi. on it. Asking Missing/Lost? for the slave cylinder.

7. OEM five-speed STI shifter linkage with TiC shift lever bushings and Kartboy front shifter linkage bushings. The linkage has 80k mi. on it and the bushings less than 20k mi. The shift lever has also been custom modified to be 3/4 shorter in height. The only thing missing is the shift lever bolt that I had to reuse for my six-speed swap. It is easily replaced by a trip to your local hardware store. If you want, I may be able to do so for you. Sold

8. Stock 04 STI clutch and flywheel with 40k mi. on it. In the trash

9. Group-N STI five-speed transmission mount filled (all the little crevices and space) with additional vibration dampening elastomer. The mount has about 25k mi. on it and has all the stiffness attributed with the stock higher-modulus Group-N elastomer with additional shock absorbency from the addition of a highly dampening elastomer. I am getting my PhD in polymer science & engineering and have access and knowledge to such material. For the those who want to know more about the filler elastomer, it is a siloxane based polymer that is rather inert, and robust especially to the elements. Sold

10. Five-speed transmission crossmember from an 02 WRX with 80k mi. on it. Make me an offer.

11. Rear differential mount with stock bushings with 80k mi. on it. Not much use unless you want to minimize downtime getting some higher-modulus bushings pressed in before you swap y our stock one out. Asking $15 for the mount with stock bushings.

I can't remember anything else that I have lying around for sale but I'll update my post when I take a look at the whole collection the next time I visit my garage. If you have something that you want that is not listed above, please don't hesitate to inquire. I'll also try and get photos of each of the above-listed items posted soon - no promises though, unless you specifically request for it.

Shipping and Paypal fees are not included in the listed prices and priority is given to the first person to shell out the cash and/or is local and is willing to meet or pick up the item. However, all prices are negotiable to a certain extent as long as it's fair; I half made up the numbers and half priced them based on other classified listings.

Cheers.

Gerald.

Chuck,

Sure, you can have it if you want. But I thought you were doing a six-speed swap? Send me a PM or call me at 413.530.0050 if you want to get in touch with me.

Cheers.

Bump for WRX rear differential, driveshaft, and rear axles still for sale. Just make me offers if you need them. I'd like to consolidate all my items as I may be moving soon.

Sorry but I think the crossmember was tossed into the dumpster a while ago. However, if I find it, you can have it for free if you want to come pick it up.

Cheers.
