In the scooby mods version of this fog light mod what does he mean when he says in section 7 to terminate the wire?

IDK how the Scoobies are wired, but on any other OEM fog lights I ever modded, all you needed to do to get fogs with parks & still drop the fogs with high beams was remove the fog light power feed wire from the low beam circuit & move it to the park circuit. The relay still drops them out when the high beams go on...

I tried the scooby mods, but it did not work? They still function as normal? And there is not a red/green wire, its red/blue. Any thoughts?

Guys, guys. This is a terrible method for independent fogs.

Do this instead: How To: 2002-2007 foglight mod (clean - no butcher job)

I just found out that the fog relay cost $30+. Just wondering if I can use a 15A/20A Bosch relay and wire the pins according to factory wiring, will this work? Just asking.

thats a great mod! can anyone confirm that this works for a 2000 outback? i dont see why it wouldn't... just added some 3k HID fogs this past week and would like to be able to have more control than just having them on with the headlights.

I'm adding HIDs to my STi fogs. Will be sweet with just the fogs illuminated.
