Default crank/cam sensor HELP PLEASE

i have a 2004 wrx and one day it just stoped running. well it startes and runs for a min then as u give it gas it dies out some one told me that it may be the crank/cam sensor cant seem to find it on the left side if your looking at the motor can find the right one just above the timinning cover maybe if some one has a digram that would help to thanks rick

cam sensorS or crank sensor usually will throw a code, you should check. Check you MAF

I'm also sure we (WRX's w/o AVCS) only have one on the driver side.

If the cam sensor went bad while driving the car would still run until it was turned off. If either of those sensors don't work the car will NOT start. This is another one of my check and clean your maf posts.

When my cam sensor went bad, I would just have trouble starting now and then but I could start and run my car. I always threw a code for it though regardless of how many times I cleared it.

I believe you're right. Anyhow I dont think thats the problem he is having.
