Default What kind of 1/4 mile times are you putting down with your 2.0?

Stock, modified, whatever. I'm hoping to take my car to the track before it starts getting REALLY cold out now that my VF34 swap is done. I'm hoping that high 12s are possible.

I ran a 14.6 bone stock and I ran a 13.6 after a TBE and Cobbs stage II 94 map.

best trap 104.3, best et 12.9 with stage 2, a mbc and ppg 1-4 helical synchro + numerous bolt ons. No tune as well, cobb stg 2 map. mbc makes a world of difference.

Mind you my times are all with around 2.0 - 1.9 60' times. I'm a terrible drag racer, I go to get an idea of my power levels, but im sure I could do much better if I made an effort to perfect my launches.

I went a 13.2 on the stock td04.

I just went a crappy 13.0 with a 16G. I made the mistake of putting a light flywheel in that killed my 60 foot times. I put a stock flywheel back in and with my 60 foot times back to the 1.7's it used to run I expect at least 12.50's probably low 12's in the cooler weather.

13.1 with stock TD04, stock cat-back, and stock TMIC on 93 octane. I tuned it myself using ecuflash and a MBC. This was only my secod time to the track with this car. I'm sure it will go 12's with a little more tuning, practice, and cool air.

Are most of you running stock trannies? It seems as though 04/05+ WRX owners have much better luck with their 5-speeds than 02-03 WRX owners.

I installed LGT 1-2 gears and 03+ 3-4 shortly after I bought the car because I shifted it just like the Mustangs that I've owned. I've learned how to shift and launch much smoother with this car using the clutch instead of brute force and always lifting between shifts now. I have about 8,000 miles of abuse on this transmission and knock on wood I haven't had any more problems.

I have the stock trans with 115,000 miles on it. I did finally wear out the original stock clutch last month and got an exedy stage 1. The trans doesn't like to downshift into first much, it never has since I got the car. I launch the car off LC at 5500. I'll probably break it now...

How much were the LGT 1+2? I'm considering doing Mfactory gears next summer or just do an LGT 1+2 if it's reliable enough.

02 WRX during the late 02 to late 03, I dragged alot.
stock 15.6. I sucked.
Boost controler and Cat back 14.2.
Lots of practice 13.5 around 99mph
VF22,pinks, tune, 13.0
Lots of practice - 12.8.
PE1820 turbo, new tune, downpipe, upipe 12.50s
50 shot of nitrous. Wet kit. One up nitruos jet, one down fuel jet. 11.80s
The old rule of 11.99 and faster with no cage, got me booted off the track.

Pulled motor and installed JDM EJ207 and then 2.5 ltr. ect ect ect... 6 years later....

I think I paid around 900 for the parts from Fred Beans Subaru. That included all new synchros. and new 3-4 gears.
