Default JDM Projector Headlights

I'm relatively new to the i-club and plan on getting a WRX soon (I just have to get out of my 2001 Maxima lease first), but I have a question on the WRX JDM Projector Non-HID headlights.

1. Can the JDM Projector Non-HID headlights be converted to HID by installing a HID kit like the kits sold by Vivid Rcaing or Hids4Less.

2. If yes, would the beam patterns be fine in terms of light distribution and intensity, except LHD vs. RHD, with the JDM Non-HID headlight housing. In other words, do the JDM HID Projectors have different refelectors, specfically for HID, than the non-HID ones?

The JDM Projectors are just soooo much better looking than the headlights we North Americans get. IMO, the lights change the look of the car a lot.

Yellow, just like me...

i got the JDM nonHID and i installed EagleEYE HIDs for it. the only difference is that HIDs have a wider range. all you need to do is adust them since they are made for RHD. or you can buy the LHD and just plug HIDs right in

tommy

hope it helps
