Default WRX engine in 98-01RS using RS tranny

Has anyone out there swapped a WRX engine into their 98-01RS and is using the stock RS tranny? Any issues?

stock rs trannys work just fine, their gears just arent as strong as WRX ones made for turbo's

they both suck, because of case flex.
