Yet another Subie wing spotted in Ottawa [Mar15/02]

Was driving downtown Friday around 1pm and saw it on the Queensway right around Corel. I know a few subie wings have gone awol so I thought I'd get a closer look and post info in case someone's missing one yet again. The install was totally ghetto, the bottoms aren't flush whatsover and probably bolted with washers or something.

Anyway, its an 1990 or so Nissan Stanza in dark grey. My neighbour has the same car so it was instantaneously recognizable. I believe the plate is AKRE 833

Thanks to the autotrader for the pic. Now I have a Legacy and really don't know the diff between RS / WRX wings but something about it reminded me more of the RS wings of the previous gen before the WRX's came out.

The wing really looks like crap as there's about a 2 inch gap between the bottom of the wing and the trunk. Also it doesn't span the entire length of the Stanza's trunk so it totally looks out of place..... not that Stanza's would look good with ANY wing .

Last detail, I'm really sure the windows are darkly tinted as I do recall trying to get a glimpse of the driver when overtaking but not seeing anything.

Hope its just a junkyard pull !! [ Do subie wings EVER make it into a wrecking yard ?]

HUmmmm.... I see the car but I don't see the wing.....am I still drunk?!?!?! Somebody give me another beer!!!!!

I saw that Stanza last week. The funniest thing is that the wing is not wide enough to fit accross the whole trunk. What do these fools think they look like? Are they trying to trick people into thinking they drive a 2.5 RS Stanza??

I saw an RS wing on a VW Jetta (I think it was) at a car show in Toronto two weekends ago! Spotted it from a mile away but don't know if it was legit or not.
