Post WRX Safety

Hello,
I am interested in purchasing a WRX but first I need safety info. Does anyone know where I might obtain crash test data or anything else about WRX safety? Thanks.

Been checking that on and off. Haven't found any info on any Impreza model past 98. However the 98's have 4 star driver/passanger frontal ratings.
They say the 2002 however has more structual rigidty.

Oh.. what did they say about the 2001 Impreza? I know they definantly said that the 2002 Impreza has a lot more rigidity then the 2001. Autoweek (probly way to much a exgaration) said that the 2001 had the rigidity of a box of tissue paper. LOL I've been in a major accident so safety was a prime concern for me to. However I think the WRX will be very safe because:
Side airbags standard
AWD. This REALLY says a lot. Lots of people look for things like traction control on new vehicles. AWD IS TRACTION control. =) I've never owned a AWD vehicle prior to the WRX but I'm sure it will do a lot if I decide to push my driving to its limits.
Brakes: The stopping distance is very good compared to its competitors, and its competitors are compact sport cars.
Manual Transmission. Yes they do have autos but MOST likely it will be a MT. Not eating, drinking, and talking to your cellphone at the same time is probly the most noticable improvement in safety!

Lets see...

The 2001 Impreza has 4 stars in crash-test saftey.

The new WRX has a 150% stiffer chasis (IE stronger in crashes), a new built in "roll bar" that makes it even stiffer, and a few other structural improvments, as well as side air bags...

Can you say, 5 stars?

And seat belt pretensioners.

Also depowered front airbags.

Also the front subframe is designed to part company from the main chassis much easier and slide right under the passenger compartment.

And...
