Default So what look are you going for? Street or Rally?

I myself am going for street. Low slung on coilovers, 18" wheels, GT style wing, subtle body kit, etc. I'm going to hold off the power mods for awhile, thing will get me killed just as quick as is. I miss my VR6, though I have another one in the family to play with if I get homesick.

So what style are you guys going for?

I'm doing a little of both. Go and show. Next mods should be Unichip, MBC, Brakes, then Suspension. I think I need another set of wheels. These 17's are good for the looks but I would like something lighter. Future Mods, turbo, injectors, fuel pump.

I'm a little short on money, but my first mods will be H&R Coilovers and Competitions. Get the stance right. I'm still a little iffy on the wings (I've owned nothing but german cars the last six years and I've always preferred a lower profile) but I'm thinking of going with a SYMS rear bumper, their GT wing and version 2 lip. Highly noticeable, but I don't race all that much anyway on the street. I figure the car is japanese so a little outlandishness is ok, as long as I leave the fart can and stickers off. That crap sucks.

At the same time, alot of me wants to leave the suspension alone, get some JDM 17's, WRC wing and leave it at that. So I can take her fishing, as well as do a little rallying. Blah.

Going for the stock look. Thinking about the HR springs also so if you get them post your opinion on thems. Stock look would be a 22b replica wing with Greddy Evo watermelon shooters and gold 17' Superleggeras.

Winslow....wheres mah exhaust??

Your exhaust is probably at the same place your uppipe is.

Utility vehicle!!! I saw a Silver WRX yesterday with a tow hitch.

Buy a truck for the outdoors.

Mike sounds like you want a little show and a little go.

I'm still waiting for a reply on the Tanabe.

Autometer are the most economical and has the biggest variety of looks. Boost gauges at least 60mm or in the case of autometer your choices are 2 1/16 or 2/ 5/8. The bigger the gauge the better the motion. Smaller gauges tend to be erratic with their movement. 20 psi should be fine but 25-30 will be better. You never want a gauge that reads at the top or the bottom of it's range. Mechanical or electrical will work. Mechanical are cheaper.

Me..Im always going for GO. I like the sleeper look. Just getting the latest round of parts in for the new setup this summer. 2.5" Tubular turbine housing., ARP head studs, Mitsu Metal 4 layer Headgasket, 3" intake pipe for turbo, 29x10x3.5" Front mount intercooler w/2.5" stainless pipes. Turbo comes off this week and gets sent out for rebuild, getting a 20 degree clip. Hopefully the combo will go 11.6's@121-122@25-26psi on racegas, and low 12's on 18-19 psi and pump gas. Basically same setup as before, just some improvement on parts.....probably money just wasted.
