Clark just tuned my 02 wrx with a vf30 setup and a GS EBCS, the car feels like a rocket. Hitting 19-20psi by 3300-3500 in 3rd. The extra power was well worth the price for the new map. Thanks Clark.

Clark sent me a Stage2 map for my 2004 WRX. This is the first time I have loaded a map using the AP outside of the default maps provided by Cobb, so needless to say I am a noob at using the AP. However, Clark provided the map and step by step instructions in loading this to my car and doing the datalogs. The car ran great after I loaded his basic stage 2 map, so at that point I was impressed. He then sent me 2 subsequent maps that improved on the already good tune to begin with. I am completely satisfied and highly recommend. Thanks Clark!

Just recieved an email from Clark stating that my logs looked great and car is running strong. Judging by how the car feels, he is right on the money. I have a 2011 wrx stage 1 with cobb Sf and spt catback. OTS map vs. Clarks map is night and day. Runs very smooth and pulls very hard. I noticed a significant difference in power. I have read some of the early posts here and saw someone say he is terrible with communication.... well I did not get that from him at all. He was very timely in his responses and completely professional. Best money I have ever spend on any of my 4 Wrxs that I have owned. Thanks again Clark, I will be back for stage 2!

Thumbs up Money well spent

I've been at stage 2 for a while with the ots map and it was okay. I finally decided to get a decent tune and man was it worth it. The car is smooth at idle and all the way through the rpms and a noticeable power increase. I think i'm getting better gas mileage too! Communication was great! He answered all my texts and emails in a timely manner. Definitely recommended!

He never put the year and make/model of his car in the map order so I had no way of sending the map out.

I'm very pleased with my experience with Clark. He gave me good advice and made sure my tunes looked good through several changes. I highly recommend using his services and will not hesitate to use him again if I do any more upgrades. Listen to him, follow his instructions and you'll be very pleased with the results

Ive been running my Cobb AP stage 2 map for about 2 months and loved it compared to stage 1 and especially in comoparison to stock performance. I have an 02 wrx wagon and i went ahead and threw on a couple other goodies that arent exactly "covered" under Cobb's ots maps. So with this in mind I decided to finally get the e-tune as opposed to driving 2 hours to EFI Logics in CT. Clark immediately responded to every email or text I sent him and quickly sent me my first map. I logged and sent back and he tuned, etc for about 3 rounds until I just got my final map last night.

Clark was extremely patient with my questions and had no problem waiting over 48 hours for me to instal my walbro 255 and retune my setup. He was quick and easy to deal with, and let me tell you the tune is way smoother and definately more powerful than the Cobb ots Stage 2 map. Who needs a dyno tune for HP numbers when Clark can read your car's data and adjust accordingly for an absolute professional tune. I highly recommend his services and can't wait to see what he'll do when I throw on my ported and polished VF34 and STi pinks.

Thanks again Clark,

Brett

I had a few emails to Clark back in November about some parts I was purchasing for a Stage 2 setup. There are not any tuners local to me, so I wanted to reach out to someone that could support and guide me a bit via email. The only thing he really stressed I needed was a walbro 255lph fuel pump.

Fast forward to this month. Finally got all my parts ready (swain tech was a bit slow due to holiday).

Mods:
Koyo rad
Crawford AOS
Walbro 255 FP
Element Tuning catless downpipe
3 M2 catback
PST carbon fiber driveshaft

The car is running great and I feel much better driving on this tune than the OTS, especially when catless.
2005 STI, 40K miles, VF39

This weekend I added the following mods while repairing a cooling leak under the intake manifold:

-Turbosmart Kompact Plumb Back BPV
-3mm Phenolic Spacers
-TGV Deletes
-Avo turbo inlet hose

Clark worked quickly through Monday evening with me to get my map dialed in. It took a few revisions, but we got to a point where he was happy with the car. I can tell he isn't just slapping some map together, as he works to get the car right.

For people like me without reputable local tuner, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his e-tuning and revised map service.

I've had a poor experience with Clark. I will post screenshots and emails of the entire event.

He's been rude throughout our entire transaction, while I've been courteous. Acted like I was burdening him. Belittled me after I made a mistake uploading a map to my Wrx, even threatened to report me after he (falsely) claimed I called him at least 20 times a day.

The mistake I made was with my AP2. The AP2 never deleted the initial tune, when I thought I had uploaded the second tune for the second round of datalogging. So the first two emails and datalog sets I sent him were from the initial tune. The third email was of the thrid tune and datalogs. I jumped from the initial tune, to the third tune. It was an honest mistake.

He sent one final text telling me to let people know that he worked on a weekend, and during superbowl for me.. (As a rebuttal, I should refer you back to my text, offering an extra payment for his extra work.)

Even though I am pleased with his work as a tuner, his complete lack of respect for customers forces my hand to not offer a satisfactory review.
Heres the screenshots, and emails. The emails go in reverse chronological order, starting with most recent.

Wait. U never flashed the second map on?

Sent from my HTC on the Now Network from Sprint!

So I found out that the AP2 didnt delete the initial tune you sent me, when I thought I had uploaded the 2nd tune. So I sent you two emails, (the first and second) with the datalogs from the first tune you sent me, and never actually installed the second tune.

this email has the datalogs from the third tune.

Let me know what you think.

There's a bunch of data logs on my AP2, I'm guessing that they go in numerical order, so I'm sending you the last two (number 18 and 19) Hopefully they're the ones you need.

Let me know if I did anything wrong!

I am glad this one is over. Sean is the most disrespectfull person I have dealt with in years. He starts off by not listing the year and make of the car he has so I had no way in sending his map out. Mad that he did not get his map he blew my phone up almost constantly. Once finding out the year, I sent his map right out. I got more constant texts from him. He was not patient enough to wait even an hour without calling.

After wasting hours of tuning this this guys ON THE WEEKEND, AFTER HOURS and DURING THE SUPER BOWL,we find out that he is NOT reflashing the revised maps onto the car!

Can you imagine that guys? He was logging the same map every time. He rufused to read the instructions. Can anyone uderstand my frusteration?

He left alot out. 4The sad thing is that his car was running strong in the logs and I was just trying to turn the boost up to 20 psi and fine tune the idle when he started calling me a dick. Once you call me names, I wont help you anymore.

I do not see where I was rude to Sean ever. I think what we are dealing with here is a young impatient kid that needs to learn that he cannot threaten people in day to day life.

All because your impatient and cant read instructions, Your car is now not tuned, You burned a bridge with me and made yourself look like an imature kid on the internet.

Oh well. Back to work.

You can't dispute my screenshots and emails. Nowhere was I out of line, up until the end where I was treated like a fool (for the "x" amount of time) with the condescending question "why can't you just follow simple directions."

I was polite and courteous the entire time, even if I seemed a little impatient.

And noone really gives two ****s if you had to work on a weekend, or through superbowl. Ask any other service member if they should give you sympathy for being paid (and offered to be paid EXTRA) for helping someone out on a weekend. Many of us don't get to be with families on holidays, didn't get to enjoy watching the superbowl, never get to be HOME for years on end.

Cry me a river.

Yup, only dick here is this guy Sean. Can't blame the tuner for not being available exactly when you want him to be... He went out of his way for you and still you weren't satisfied. Comparing Clark in that manner is irrelevant and purely shows just how immature you are.

I love service members who feel like the world owes them something because of their service. So what, we work/on call 24/7. You chose the job. Get over yourself. Clark doesnt have to help on his off days just because you are in the Army.

Before anyone says anything....Im a Vet myself. I just dont agree with people who run around and demand **** because they wear a uniform. Its childish to say the least.

Guys, Thanks alot for the support. Its a small window into the world I live. People are very demanding and when I work 24 hours a day, everything is cool. But if I take one day off, People really fly off the handle.

Take today for example. I woke up at 6am to the phone ringing. Its someone back east having a subaru crisis. They dont think about the time change. I helped this guy load his map to his AP2 step by step even after I explained the cobb manual is very nice and they even have videos you can watch on how to load a map.

By that time I got that guy up and running, I noticed I had 50+ emails and a page of txt messages. Everyone is working on the cars on saturday. I ended up spending the day on the phone, and email. Yea, Its my job I guess...

Alot of my customers ARE very patient and are VERY nice people. Its a few bad apples that makes this job tough.

Default Clark turner 5 stars

Clark, just did my 3rd or 4th "tune"
the original tune was for a vf34 and ebay headers and up pipe. that one is somewhere in this thread i am sure It was perfect.

a year later i had:

a vf39 and Borla headers, originally 93 octane, but due to local gas stuff all we have now is 91. he was able to work with me to tune both maps and update the old vf 34 map to fit my needs ( daily driver and some time baby carrier)

so both tunes were professional and clear cut, he tells you what you need to do you do it and your good. he is a little snippy on emails but it is less him being snippy then being busy and professional. he responds quick (30 min) gets the job done his prices are reasonable.

couldn't be happier. just be prepared for 1-3 sentence responses and all business in the emails. if that throws you off don't take it personal.

5/5 for me.
