Default Dealers in South Florida

I live in the Miami area and the closest dealer to me is William Lehman. How are they?

I really cant travel to mastro...I hear they're the best though.
Anyway. think I can pull a 22-23k deal at Wil Lehman?

I bought my 2.5rs there 3 years ago. They are OK but I don't think they are as good as Mastro.

Too bad Mastro is like a 3+ hour drive, lol. I guess I'll have to take a road trip if WL won't work with me.

I just recently purchased a WRX wagon from Mastro and I can highly recommend them. EVerything went extremely smooth...low pressure sales, highly informative people, and a great price. I don't believe you can go wrong with Mastro.

MASTRO!
MASTRO!
MASTRO!

Seriously..its WAY worth it.
I live in Daytona and bought mine from Steve Catlin at Mastro.
Did my dealing over the net and the phone with Pete and went in to sign the papers and away I went with my brand new WRX.

Nothing but great things to say about the guys at Mastro, Specially Pete.
My carbon fiber trim was even installed when i got there, which i was expecting to have to wait for.

Whats preventing you from going to them ?

Lehman, eh?

If you're planning a purchase with them, make it a point to contact them online. Do not walk into the lot. Its bad, very bad. Online prices seem pretty fair.

Mastro is very good and comes highly recommended. We live in Pembroke Pines and made the trek up. We purchased our second Subaru there back in November and we'll certainly buy again. I would've bought my car there, but they couldn't find an RS in my color.

Lehman's service department is very good. I had my 30k service performed there and we had a recent warranty claim repaired on our '02 OBS. I've dealt with Orlando who's pretty good. John (other service writer) is excellent as well. PM me if you've got any questions.

Wow. Looks like Mastro is definitely the way to go.

Right now I'm still driving my mustang though. I still have so many payments left.

MY next car will definitely be a WRX from Mastro though

Thumbs up William Lehman service dept...

I just got my '99 2.5 rs back from them this AM. it was there being serviced and i found the service dept to be satisfactory. the part took a few days to get but i knew that would happen with a subaru before i bought it. i heard long ago that parts take awhile to get. Orlando was helpful and nice and didn't treat me like i was dumb or clueless as is the case many times with car repair people and women and i appreciated that. also, they gave me a loaner car for the 4 days that we were waiting on the part. I probably wouldn't be inclined to buy a car from there however, based on the salesmen that i talked to when i was finding out where to go to find the Subaru service department. i got called "baby" and "sweetheart" all in a 2 minute timeframe. call me cranky but i just don't appreciate anyone i don't know calling me baby or honey. they just seemed too much like your typical slick car salesman types... yeesh...

Nope it was not at Mastro. This was William Lehman where i got my car serviced. Thanks for caring. Guess i know who i'll be going to when i'm ready to buy another subie. (and yes i know that it's silly that i don't like being called baby by someone and yet that is my nickname. call me a walking talking contradiction. anyway, the nickname is a little joke amongst me and the rest of my pb team)

Lehman is really bad for sales. Actually...they suck. I felt like I was at a "buy here/ pay here" lot in Crackton. As PB stated, the service department is pretty good. They did the 30k service on my RS and cleaned/detailed the car before I got it back. Very nice. They've also performed a warranty repair on the OBS too. Very pleased with the service.

You'll probably want to PM Pete. I'm not sure how often he's in this forum.

Talking

the salesmen, where funny as hell.

as soon as I parked my car a shark(salesman) approached me. I quickly stated that I wanted someone who speaks spanish and as he was turning away he almost tripped when he bumped into a parked car

then I get a Hispanic salesman and greet him. I told him I wanted to see a new WRX wagon. As we were walking to the car, I ask him "where are you from..." he says I'm "Hiatian".
I give him a funny look and start thinking *** (is this guy pulling my leg ?, and at the same time I waned to start laughing).

They only had 1 left (red and the paint was scrached up in a few places). I pop the head and start looking over the engine and he says he'll be right back....

2 minutes later, ANOTHER saleman shows up.
I say "where is the Hiatian ? :monkey:"
"He is getting ready to leave for the day...."
"OK"
blah, blah, blah.
I was joking with them, they were friendly and down to earth, BUT they wouldn't go down in the price

They told me, it would take 10 weeks (yes TEN weeks) to get the WRX I wanted

thanks for chimming in Matt

Default Ready to buy a WRX and called Mastro

What do people usually pay over the prices of a WRX, I called Mastro a month ago and they quote me 9% over invoice, Is this prices firm? Which person should I deal with over there so I can get the best prices...

Another dealer around my area (south florida) quote me 3% over invoice.

Please advice with more information.

Just had a great experience there and picked up a 2002 blue wrx sedan for $500 over invoice, $25,200 out the door...I was happy with that...the guys were very nice and didn't hassle me out all on the price even though there was only one sedan w/o a spoiler...I'm happy

Angry Wm. Lehman vewwy baad

I recently went into Lehman to buy a WRX. I wanted a white one, but there weren't any. So, my salesman, Jeff Mullin, offers to aquire one. Left a $500 deposit, and waited for word on my white WRX. No responce....So I go in to ask, he tells me that there was no way to get a white 02 from the factory, he says he can try to get one of the 4 in the state. Can't get one for agreed upon priceso i leave and begin an internet scavenger hunt for the dealers with white ones. Bob Dance in Orlando had 3 of 4. Got price that day, lower than Lehman, and the car within 10 days. I go back to Lehman for the deposit, and the sales manager says "But we already ordered your car" a 03. i said f u cuz a 03 for an extra 5k isnt the 02 is signed the slip for.
later, ends up insulting me and tells me to "talk to our lawyers" as he hangs up on me. so i do...call regional sales manager and immediately ask for the names of his attorneys. he almost ***** a brick. agrees immediately to send the check, and then proceeds to appologize profusely on behalf of SOA. i went back for service a few weeks later, and the salesman's desk is occupied and all of his personal artifacts are gone...
on the bright side though, the parts and service at Lehman IS rather good.
bottom line dont buy a car from them, they will try and rip u off:monkey:

Lehman Sales is HORRIBLE, left my info there and keep calling me still every once a while and ask DO I STILL INTERESTED IN WRX and I told them I bought one already..

They give horrible prices and $1000 over MSRP..

Delray is awesome.. got my car there.. no problem...

$150 over invoice... cos that one I got is Red...
