you mean conservative to save your............engine right??
good luck keeping your stock block alive once you make a more agressive tune. also take it easy thats still EXTREMELY!!!!! more then enough to turr your tranny to shreds.

Yeah so far I have just done roll ons, I need the tranny to last for about 2 months then going ppg. As far as my block im not the least concerned honestly-my tuner said they usually tune this setup to 420+ and 380 ft lb easily. Plans are in the works for pistons, rods, heads and some gsc cams and im sure ill do 450 whp+....We will see!

Topspeed did the tune, doug is a cool guy. It feels really good-first gear it pulls like the td04 and then ewg opens and it spools and tires break loose and time for second! Can't wait for ppgs and flat foot shifting. Whats done to yours matt.

Nice conservative power but he is right thats WAY more than enough to shred that trans even coming on boost in 3rd gear you can shear it. PPG's or a 07 STI 6spd FTW. You could have made that kind of power on 30R and had it come on A LOT sooner. I make just about 480WHP on Q16 on a cool day with my 30R on a TMIC to boot

My member number may say I joined not long ago but as far as my passion for motorsports im no noob....i enjoy running 1.4 60 foots on my 07 stretched gixxer just as much as you guys enjoy your 500 whp monsters! Yeah i went with the 35 because in two months im going for 550 whp. It has to run at least streetable tens or i won't be happy. My bike has ruined me.

Yes, trying to keep a 35R on the down low doesn't work.

just so you know as you have stated being around long enough. Your Stock setup will pop like a virgins cherry if you try to make 550WHP on it. It might last a few runs but that's it.

Yes I wish Q16 was a little cheaper its at least $220 to fill the tank up all the way. But it smells good and makes great power. I won't push my AXIS Stage 3 past 29psi.

Yeah whatever. About 12 years ago I remember the BBS newsgroups (when they didn't have forums back then) were saying Supras would blow their motors on anything bigger than the stock twins

Seriously, there haven't been enough stock block 550whp STIs yet

Yeah, i plan on throwing in some pistons rods heads and cams before i try for the 550! I think a stock block ej with the right tuning and some meth will do 420 reliably...just my .02....Yeah all4 we can do a roll but my suby is slow

Topspeed said they usually tune my setup to around 420 whp and 380 ft lb but i figure with the meth they can turn down idc's and the cooler temps would help with knock and det. but first is ppg,s then building block and hoping for at least 450....Maybe i will get lucky!

You've been on NASIOC 5 yrs and still have not learned much. Why do think theres not alot of stock 550WHP stock block STI's? The internals can't handle it for daily driving maybe a few good runs but thats it. MAybe bragging rights a good pull on the old dyno, but run that car everyday or track it aalot its going to blow. Nobody loves a dyno Queen!

I actually had a little respect for your posts until I saw this one

And hahaha I do know what a what BBS is been in IT 20years
