Default Finally ran the WRX!

and im pretty pleased with the results even though i was praying for a 12!

Temp--62

R/T----.001
60'----1.900
330---5.505
1/8---8.467
MPH--85.20
1000-10.998
1/4---13.150
MPH--105.12

with the trap speed i would think i could hit a 12.9 at least because i saw another WRX run 12.9 with a 103mph trap I just only had 2 runs since etown is so retarded and lets the index cars run 6-7 times before the time trials even move.

performance mods are:

-VF39
-Cobb AP v2 using 93 octane VF39 OTS map
-Ported & wrapped OEM headers w/ grimmspeed big bore center pipe
-catted 3" turboback
-Turboxs hyperflow topmount
-turboxs MBC set to 16lbs
-Cobb shortram
-Cobb heatshield

I think thats all of it, i always blank when im sitting trying to think of all my mods.

if its completely necessary i can scan the actual timeslip but i figured no one would think id be lieing about running a 13 haha

Your reaction time looks great. I ran my car at the shootout for the first time also but my numbers were not so hot.

Back on topic...

Nice run. Get it tuned and crank up the boost, you will be well into the 12's. I ran 12.9 @ 107 without flogging on it too too hard.

Looks like a great run! Inhuman reaction time (seriously, WTF?), pretty good 60', etc.

I've wanted to take my car to the strip, but I dont want to break the trans until I get home. I think next weekend I'll take it to the strip, and if I break the trans, I've got another one waiting for me at home.

I put in 06 injectors in my 05 with a vf34 and still have head room.

I wish i had an AP before my protune. I would like to feel or see the difference. Then i could comment about them.

Just to clear the air.

No you do not need to own an AP to get tuned on COBB Protuner by your shop.

If you do not have a AP you will not be able to access the map or change maps. Which would limit you just running the map that the tuner puts on.

I have a street map and a race gas map which I can easily change on the AP depending on what I am running.

you should be able to get a 12 pretty easy on the ots map

- take the passenger seat out
- get to the track on Empty
- put in 4-5 gallons of 100 octane plus
- get a good launch and 1-2 shift

if you're really feeling fruity you can turn the boost up on the race gas. 16 psi is on the low side for what people run on vf turbos

Very nice! I went friday as well with my stage2 04 wrx and was only able to hit 15.0 @ 95mph But its all in my start, 2.4 60' and granny shifting all the way down. I really don't want to destroy my clutch so I wasn't interested in launching at 5000 rpm just to get a mid 13's run.
