Any projections for pricing, or availability?

It's Monday!!! We want more Moore! (see what i did there, clever huh?)

Seriously though, any information you could divulge on said case re-inforcement, gearset, project power holding or prices would be fantastic.

We're going back through all the info on the trans that we did to get an exact cost and we're working out production pricing (even in small runs) for the bracing. As soon as I have a solid number were post it up!

As well as street/dyno testing, we do plan to test this 5mt and bracing components early this spring at the dragstrip with slicks and over 500whp. If this were Florida I'd already have the results, but Pittsburgh is a little chilly and wet this time of year.

So this is both gears AND case reinforcement? will they be offered seperately of only as a pre-built transmission option?

There is both. Both will be offered separate OR together as a package price.

Sorry guys, had to pull pricing...wrong thread for that! Shoot me an email or a pm regarding price. In a nutshell that pricing would include (after a core transmission is shipped to us) the teardown, inspection, Moore Performance gearset, Moore Performance Blast Plates, professional installation. Essentially a complete transmission ready to bolt back in!

That's a great price. It's an affordable option in comparison to PPG, Albins or other replacement aftermarket gearset swap.

How does the upgraded 5spd fare with aftermarket clutches? Ie I am going to need something that will hold 500/500, is the trans going to be up to that, and some shockloading from launches, and hard fast shifts at the autocross course? Now if I could only find a spare 06 trans, or find a way to get my Scoob out to ya without costing me and arm a leg and a testicle.

I'll be able to answer the hard lauch/hard shifting questions in mid april and we plan to have more hp/tq applied to this trans over the next few weeks. Right now we have a twin plate Carbonetic clutch ahead of the trans and don't sell any body parts yet as there must be a cheaper way! Is autox the main use for your car (maybe beside street use)?

I hate to beat a dead horse, but if the case "flexed" wouldnt their be a loss of trans fluid since it a 2 piece design? I thought the flaw in the 5 spd was that the main shaft flexed causing gears to possibly move inside the transmission?

Not necessarily, It could flex in a way that not split the two halves. Does it flex... hell I don't know.
