Default One footed driver sighted in Vista, CA

Sighted on Hwy 78 near San Diego, California last week - Driver in Illinois plated Suby with USN sticker driving with foot out of window - I pulled up next to him after he exited the freeway and was about to tease him a little when I noticed he had a young child with him in a car seat in the front passenger seat. Too dumbfounded to speak , I watched him pull away.....

as long as it's auto you don't need that foot anyways. I wouldn't do it though.

I knew a guy in college who didn't have any arms, he was born like that. He used to drive a 280Z with his feet!! Of couse it was an automatic, but on a hot day, he would sometimes have one foot out the window because they would get sweaty and slip.

Question

Is this a Southern Ca. thing? I have seen this more in Southern Ca. than anywhere... in fact I don't think I have seen it anywhere else...

That's so stupid to drive like that. First of all, it doesn't look comfortable. Second, it's setting a bad example for the kid and for other young drivers around that mite wanna show off to their friends. And third, it's a hazard to other drivers including the driver sticking his putrid foot out the window. I hate retards like this.

I had friends do that in HS since I didn't drive and I used to do it when I lived in Maine for a while. Damn auto Cavalier with no AC in the summer.
