Default 07 STi 350whp/396wtq. STOCK TURBO!

Tuned this car a couple of days ago. 350whp/396wtq on the stock VF43 on 91 octane and 50/50 meth/water injection. 335whp/360wtq on just CA91 octane. The pump gas only results are actually what surprised me most. By far the strongest stock turbo STi I have tuned on just pump gas. The customer wanted to see what we could get out of the stock turbo before he upgrades to an ATP3076 so I was more than happy to oblige

Mod list:
-100% stock block
-Cobb Access Port v2 custom tuned by Yimi Sport Tuning
-DW 750cc Injectors
-Invidia V3 catless Downpipe
-Invidia G200
-APS Cold Air Intake 70mm
-APS Turbo Inlet Pipe
-HKS BOV 100% Recirculated
-Walbro Fuel Pump
-Gimmspeed Coated EWG kit Tial 38mm wastegate
-Gimmspeed Coated PnP Exhaust Manifold w/ HiFlow Crosspipe
-Phenolic Thermal Spacer 8mm
-Yimi Sport TGV Delete
-Hallman pro rx MBC
-NGK one step colder plugs
-Aquamist HFS-5

Here are the graphs:

91 octane only:

91 octane + 50/50 meth/water:

I think the car has more in it with a swap to a bigger meth jet. I believe he came in with one of the smaller jets installed. I'd also like to see what we can get out of it with some better fuel (100 octane or higher), but we'll leave that for another day Just goes to show what a well chosen set of bolt-on parts can net with the stock turbo. The power still falls off as expected up top but the midrange pull is pretty dang stout!

nice curves paul.

you ever try tightening the wastegate on a vf turbo and running 20 psi at redline?

i've seen several posts of people running 23psi at redline on vf turbos and just found it crazy.
I tried on my car with an ebcs, mbc, and 100% wgdc and could even get near 20psi.

Woot thats my car! :P

First of let me thanks to Paul@ Yimi Sport Tuning and their team. Aside the tune, he helped me to make over the meth kit that I had. It was a piece of crap installation from a member on this forum. Paul are willing to look for the problems and fixed it, infact I think he is workaholic hah. Anyway I can go on and on but to make it simple, if you want a shop that treat your ride like their own than this is it. So all socal people go and check them out!

Paul, the car run great no problem so far. I have few friends of mine drove it. They have a big smile on their face and said "wow". Thanks again!

Pic of my ride test fitting Ganador mirror today.
