Lightbulb how much heat wrap will it take to wrap headers and down pipe

i got a xs-power down pipe 3in and xs-power headers.
how much wrap do you think i will need to do it.
how many cans of silicone spray too.

Just go on ebay and you can buy about 50ft for a little under $40 shipped which is a pretty good deal.

it took me a 15'x2" (I think that was the size" to do an sti uppipe. 50' should take care of it, for the most part.

i found 100ft shipped around 45 shipped.
i know someone as wrapped the stuff so i was trying to figure out how
much i should buy i do not want to buy 50ft and it is not enough.
i also need to know how many cans of the silicone i need to buy.

do you have an autozone near you? They sell the ceramic spray for headers...much cheaper to buy local than have is shipped...plus if you don't have enough...

i used the DEI exhasut wrap, the 50ft-2inch and had some left over, after up pipe and down pipe and it was under 50 dollars

You use the spray to cover the wrap and have a barrier against oil and other flammables.

I just did my downpipe, 50 feet x 1 inch was enough to make it to the horizontal section but only by a couple inches. (I overlapped quite a bit, as I really don't care about that section, it was more to keep the under hood temps down and to not melt my AC hose)

Not sure about the other stuff but I used almost all of the 50' x 2" heat wrap I bought from Jegs. Sprayed it with the high temp adhesive/sealant and sprayed the bellmouth portion of the dp where it widens with spray-on ceramic coating.

i've done mine, but i forget the length i used. but I noticed a good decrease in engine bay temp.
