Default 11.02 94oct pump no meth

went to kilkare raceway near dayton ohio on thursday the 25 for test and tune. On 23.5-24 psi on pure 94 pump went 11.02 at 126 with a 1.55 60ft.I told everyone I will soon be in the 10s on pur pump NO METH before the seasons over even Dave Buschur knew I was going to do it.I will be posting the timeslip soon also for the bashers out there I had plenty of witnesses to the pass and if anyone wants to see it I also have the datalog from the run in my hydra file.oh I forgot 1 thing the car so false knock in 5th gear and pulled 8 degrees of timing right around 6000 rpm.

Congrats Shreck! You need to put some slicks on those wheels and see what the car has.

That thing sounded like a monster last night tearing it up at the track. 11.02 @ 128 is some serious speed on pump gas!

Awesome work John!!

I believe it... that 94 Octane "pump gas" can support almost as much power as 100 octane in my experience. Just gotta bump up the boost . BTW, how much boost are you running?

Dont be upset because you guys get 91 err.. 87 octane gas!

Congrats to the OP... I went 11.02 as well on pumpgas.. Its so damn frustrating! Much more respect for doing it with the ****ty old gear ratios though!

I think he's out weighing his car right now. I don't know for sure, but I think the car may have seen close to 24 psi on those runs.

Great job! Race gas, more boost and spray should get you well into the 10's! Have you had the car dyno'ed?

It would be tight to see you loose the wing, get an RS hood and some black thermal dispersant (sp?) paint on that FMIC. Sleeeeepppperrrr FTW!

Ive alraedy been 10.73@135 spinning thru the 1/8th mile on c16 at 29-30psi,just cant seem to get on a good track to stay hooked up after the 60ft mark.Slicks like what buschur has been running is probably my next move.At dragway 42 in northern ohio the kelford cams I run allowed me to pick up 38mph on the backhalf(97@1/8-135@1/4).weight of car with me in it was 3360 and I weigh 195 lbs.thanks for all the compliments.

yeah its just that its getting late in the season and most of the tracks around here lose heat and the stick once the sun goes down so I'm not putting a lot of priority on getting to the track as much right now.thanks for the compliment slorice and I will probably put together a slick set-up with some suspension work this winter.
