Default turbxs tuned fpred+c16

went to turboxs this weekend and had my car tuned by jermaine who is just the magic man with the utec great guy. the car for some reason didn't make as much as i had expected , but it feels great and i am loving it. i think i may have picked up some bad gas for the 93 tune. here is a quick mod list, and maybe jermaine could throw up the dyno plot for me. jermaine check your inbox for pm, also just wanna say thanks for your patience saturday and for putting up with all my questions.

93 318whp can't remember torque 23psi
c16 424/369 30psi

the numbers seem low but it is a blast to drive now. i'm going to do a compression check tomorrow to see if that may be the problem, but last i checked it was good.

You put down 424 on a 205 block !? thats awesome and makes me feel better about the motor I'm slowing building right now!

Cool build!

thanks man i just didn't want to do the same builds that everyone on here is doing. like i said we were having an issue with the timing, or the numbers would have been higher. he asked me if i wanted to take the boost up over 30, but we both thought that 30 was good for now...

hey thanks man it was good to actually meet someone from the forums. yeah me and jermaine took it out on the street with the race gas and all i can say is WOW the hit was like a train.... the car is amazing fast on race fuel compared to what it was before, even the pump gas is crazy, it was fun on the way home.. i'm going to try to make it back and hopefully make some bigger numbers.

my sister said she was glad you could put up with her jabbering and she was glad she came...

t3/t4 50 trim with a .63 back housing at sea level and also running a little higher compression and fuel will be a mix of 93 with meth.

Hope you enjoy it...

if its a timing issue, did you use a new oil pump during the build?

Just for reference those are respectable numbers... but mikaust with an 8cm Red put down 493 whp on TXS's dyno. This was a stock longblock EJ207. I'd think your built 205 with headwork would be on par with that.

Assuming the motor is healthy... and I hope it is... there could be more left in it for sure. Could be a sensor issue...

the car would handle probably aroud 7800 maybe 8000, however 7 was enough to acheive our goals. i think i got my rev limiter set at 7200. i'm getting ready to install meth soon, well see how it runs then.

What exhaust do you have now? When I switched, it made a huge difference. It is a lot louder than anything I have ever driven.

Thats what I have on my car and it is nice and loud and mean sounding but if you have police issues I would not recommend getting the rfl-ti or you will probably get pulled over alot.

The reason I ask about the oil pumps... there seems to be some cars who have had issues with oil pump/crank sensor combinations which limit max rpm and effect overall performance.

Glad to hear that I could help in the build We are both running eagle rods and cp pistons, lol!
