me: Henry
graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering in May 99

was already in the telecom industry while going to school (by chance) - and worked on every cell phone imaginalble from mid 2 late 90's with every manufacturer at the time as well (motorola, nokia, samsung, sony erricson, qualcom, Denso wireless) and i worked on all aspects from cosmetic refurb, level 3 repair (which is a fancy way of saying board level repair) to what i loved the most which is RF testing -sitting by yourself in a RF shielded 8x10 room with $80 grand worth of equipment at the touch of your fingers...sorry, its my joy
after i graduated the cell phone market became super-uber popular and there was not much of a demand for highly specialized techs, so i moved to cordless telephones, so after 3 years in that field i left. From there I worked for a company called Engenius tech, makers of a TRULY high powered 900Mhz cordless telephone (with the setup i had at my apartment, i was able to get about a block and a half of reception distance from my apartment).
left that after three years and went to work for On Command in Huntington beach - providers of the in-room entertaiment systems for the Hotel industry..so next time you are in a Marriot/Hilton or any of their affiliates and you turn on the TV in your room...the logo should read On Command, that was us (oh yeah, i was an install/maintenance tech for them)
then i moved into TV ratings with a company called AUDIENCE RESEARCH MEASUREMENT (A.R.M.) they gathered demographic info and of course what ppl were watching and at what times and for how long thru a black box that monitored what ppl was watching (not what you think, it was not a BIG BROTHER type of thing...but it was - in a way)
finally i left that after almost 2 years and went to work for Sprint on the retail side (originally wanted to be a tech for them, but they said they needed sales so i joined). Never looked back since..i have since moved my way up the corp ladder making Assistant Store Manager but not for Sprint; i worked for ATT as the ASM in one of their busiest stores in so-cal.
but after 5 years i decided to take a break from sales all together and now i am looking to get back into sales, just not retail.

As far as subaru, well...my best friend had a 05 wrx, he let me drive it and i was sold..now most of my friends drive subarus..from wagons to sedans to forresters to outbacks to even the mighty tribeca.

there may be other cars that are more stylish/better looking/faster/an even more affordable to drive..but none leave a smile on my face like subaru does. From being waived at on the opposide side of the street by another subaru owner or being asked about my car by some random ppl, its the greatest automotive experience anyone could have...nice being a part of something great

the end

Me: I'm Calvin

Work: I work at a manufacturing company in Irvine that makes custom connectors for every application you can think of, but mainly for the military... my job is boring as hell but i get paid pretty well so I can't complain [too much] haha.

School: Went to Cal Poly, SLO for 5 years and got my B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, but I am currently working as a Manufacturing/Industrial engineer, because I got tired of using Solidworks and AutoCad lol...

Subaru: In Late april i rewarded myself with an 06 Steel Grey STi... it was kinda like a present to myself for getting hired on full time at the company I am currently working at, before that I was a tempt for 4 months. Before that I was into Honda's too, had a riced out accord at one point in my life then had a pretty sweet 5th gen prelude right before i bought the STi.

I guess i can hook u guys up if you need custom connectors?

Me: Victor

Work: I currently work as a Software Engineer for a major television network off of Miracle Mile.

School: Went to UCSB for 5 years, was a Mechanical Engineer but switched to Computer Science. Graduated in 2004 with a B.S. Computer Science degree.

Subaru: I was into Subarus the first day I saw a dirt rally on ESPN pre-2000. Then after watching the hk flick The Legend of Speed, it made me want it more. Then after watching Initial-D i wanted it even more! Then I had been eye-ing the WRX/STI when it first came in 2002. When I landed my first good paying job in 2005, I rewarded myself with a WRX (even though I could've afforded the STI). This is also the first car I personally owned (almost done with payments!). Previous cars driven include a 1989 Dodge Caravan, 1992 honda accord, and 1997 honda crv.

work: just started working at sharkeez doing a bunch of bitch inputting work... but its awesome bc i name my own hours and my boss buys me drinks while im working away. I still have hook ups at conrev too... so yeah all im good for is condoms and vip parties at sharkeez..

school: i go to gwc and csulb full time majoring in physiology..but prolly going get a biz degree instead. once i finish my prerequisites, i will start going chiropractor school. Ultimately i want to own my own practices...

subie: my first car was an 01 mustang and i hung out with all the honda kids. when the wrx's came out, i fell in love. when my volvo got totalled, i shopped around for bug eyes, but my mom wasnt as dumb as i thought and found me a nice mazda 3 hatch instead. then, as fate would have it, my ex bought an 06 wrx for me while i lived in alaska, and i mobbed the ice like no other. ditched the ex and lost the car, now i have my very own 05 sti
