Default Anyone in the Saugus, MA area?

I'm a 17 year old kid in Melrose, one of the towns around there (spoiled, I know ) And my friends don't think it would be "fun" to help me remap my fuel delivery to parallel. Haha, don't blame them. But if anyone around my age is in the area, reply to this, I'd like to hang out with other Imprezzers.

Why? Do you think your not mature enough to hang out with someone slightly older?

You or your parents made a wise choice in the car you drive.

No, I don't think someone much older would want to hang out with a teenager anyway. It was my choice, after my mom decided I should get a brand new car, and I promptly refused her suggestion of a Mustang and pointed her to the Subaru dealership.

Oh my... perhaps spoiled, but at least you seem relatively mature.

Many of the folks on here are young (I just turned 21 in January), though, perhaps, not as young as yourself. Doesn't matter... come to any of the gatherings/meetings, introduce yourself, and get to know some of us. We don't bite.

cheers,

/Andrew

Haha yup. I don't know if I'm stupid for wanting to put performance mods in my car (my friend who has never had a new car keeps saying the "W" word) or I'm just like everybody else. Where are the gatherings/meetings anyway?

The Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act is your friend... if your modification is the cause of a breakdown, they don't have to cover it... but in order to deny warranty service, it must be provable that the cause was due to the modification.

Or, you can be like me... and rack up 36,000+ miles in just over 8 months.

I live in Everett. I am 26 yrs old (old to you ), and would probably help you burn your car to nothing if I tried that modification. I'll be happy to wave at you if we ever pass each other.

Well, things like camshafts could (theoretically) cause close to anything on the engine from breaking down, so thats why I'm a bit shaky..

Ahh, I see what you mean.

It all depends on just how far you want to go to modify your engine.

Wonder why I haven't seen you around, Jeff. I'm the psycho in the blue sedan who does laps from Franklin to Melrose to the Fells to Porter to Upham and back. Stupid friends need rides.

yea like khaos said a bunch of us are fairly young. im 22 myself and i actually do bite sometimes.. Im always bored, live in the Lowell area, and have never been "spotted" driving around. So as a result i drive around more...

Speaking of blowing up the subaru. I semi installed nitrous tonight. Right now its only purgable but damn its fun lol. I need to figure out how the fuel system works in order to finish the install. Ah well. The subie lives for another day!
