Thumbs up ATX: H&R Coilovers with custom PDE and Ground Control tophats + SWIFT springs (2002+)

FOR SALE in Austin:

H&R coilover kit with custom PDE front tophats, and Ground Control rear tophats. Less than 4500 miles/9 months old. (Never tracked.)

Also, a set of SWIFT coilover springs.

This will fit 02+ WRX and 04 STi.

They will also fit wagons! I know, as I had them on mine.

The H&R coilovers are warranteed for life.

No leaks or damage to all 4 struts!

The H&R springs are 430 F / 295 R.

The SWIFT springs are ~ 530 F / 430 R.

The PDE tophats have had the tube nuts custom threaded for the H&R/Bilstein strut threads. These tophats will ONLY fit H&R or Bilstein threads, and I don't wish to part them out. These tophats allow a zillion different adjustments of camber and caster, and are totally sick!

The GC rear tophats are also included, and will fit sedan OR wagon. I had them in my wagon, and they will swap right back to fit your sedan, if needed.

NEW this setup cost:

H&R coilovers (less than 9 months ago): $1300
PDE tophats: $400
Ground Control rear tophats: $300
SWIFT front springs: $160
SWIFT rear springs: $160
Custom threading for PDEs: $70

Total cost new: $2390!

I will sell the entire setup for $1150, or $1050 without the SWIFTS.

That's freakin' half-price for a setup that's seen less than 4500 miles!

Only cosmetic issues are some chips on the H&R springs, which were banged-around in storage when I had the SWIFTs on my car, and a few scratches on the GC tophats (pictured).

The H&Rs are great for daily driving, and the SWIFTS are great for flat tarmac.

Here's a few pics of them:

The stuff taped to the bottom of the strut in this picture is just the GC hardware:

I really prefer a local, Austin, TX buyer.

Shipping is possible, but I want to try for a local sale 1st.

NO lowballing or BS. I am sure 1/2 price is quite fair!

Thanks,

SOTC

What kind of alignment specs were you able to attain? If possible, could you post a scan? Thanks!

I had zero toe front and rear, and about -2.0 degrees front camber with extra caster dialed-in.

You can max the front camber plates out to ~ 3.5 degrees negative, IIRC, but then you lose caster.

I don't have a scan, but the setup allows lots of versatility.

On sedans, the adjustability is even greater front and rear.

Wow. I just happen to lust after the STi BBS.

Hmm. I really need money, though, which is the only reason I'd sell these to begin with. I guess I could slang the Saabaru wheels I am currently riding on.

PM me what you think the wheels are worth on the total price, and I'll consider it.

Thanks -

Lots of interest.

Prefer money to trades, but will possibly consider 5X100 BBS wheels toward the deal.
