News The Bailout Math in Terms You Can Understand

There has been lots of talk about how if the bailout money were disbursed to the people in America over the age of 18, that we would all have $440,000 (figures vary in each telling of this bit of math). However, this math is all wrong.

$700 billion.
$700,000,000,000.
This is a lot of money.

If the $700 billion were distributed evenly to the 7 billion people on this planet, that would come out to just under $10 million for every human being. That is $10,000,000 for every person on this planet. That is a lot of money.

The CEO of AIG was earning $97 billion dollars per year as salary. For every minute of every day he worked, he earned enough money to find a cure for AIDS, end world hunger, and develop cybernetic soldiers to fight in Iraq so that our brothers, sisters, children, and parents don't have to die. If he donated the money from just one day of his paycheck, war on this planet would become a thing of the past.

If this bailout bill passes and is signed by the president, it will eventually cost tax payers $8.4 quadrillion dollars, and may god bless America.
$8,400,000,000,000,000.
This is almost 1000 times the national debt. The bailout bill will send the world down a path that will ensure financial destruction.

Please, take the time to contact your congressperson and tell them that you oppose the bailout and favor $10,000,000 for every human being on the planet, curing aids, ending famine, SkyNet, and to take the threat this planet is facing from the conspiratorial Reptilian Overlords very seriously.

Pass thing along to everyone you know for the sake of our fine country, and the planet we know and love.

How can someone divide 700 by 7 and get ten million?

Why would you buy a heap of **** like a GT-R? It's barely one step above an SRT4.
