my exhaust is ugly and the STI exhaust looks pretty sexy. i dont think it will fit though because the wrx/sti has an uppipe and a downpipe that connects to turbo/headers and etc and the NA version doesnt
questions will a full sti exhaust fit my 07 impreza? do you have to do some modding? does it add any gains compared to the ****ty impreza exhaust with a rusted 1 inch tip i might have answered the question myself

The full STi exhaust obviously won't because you don't have a turbo for the DP to mount to. I think the catback does. But I'm not 100% sure. You would see minor gains from adding an aftermarket catback. Heres a link to a dyno test of a bunch of different catbacks. They all see gains of approx 10hp. These are on a WRX, but you would still experience some gains.

well i might just replace the axleback or the catback with an sti one because not only do i have no space in the garage to leave the old exhaust, but itll be cheaper and itll look good

Axleback will fit, but I believe you have to rotate the flange.

i have an sti catback on my ts wagon (2.5 NA), the flange from cat to midpipe is rotated 90 degrees, the mid pipe is about 3 or 4 inches shorter, but the hangers fit perfectly, anyone who knows how to weld can help you make it fit
this looks like just the rear section, you can get a muffler place to make you a custom mid pipe, but yeah i got mine for like $100 so good deal |
