WHOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

My renewal is up in April. Hehe just in time.

Gee I wonder if memberships is "as long as you own your car'. Wouldn't THAT be nice?

I heard the new Pres of SCCA was looking into expanding their base...but this I would have never thought of.

Hmmm... what are the dealers going to think when they ask...you a member of SCCA.. do you Auto-x by using that membership? Yes? *STAMP* (Warranty Void) LOL!

Are you serious? That's great that they include an SCCA membership with the car!!! I just hope that we actually get that here in NY/NJ/New England seeing as we're not actually served by SOA...

On the previous message: why are so many people around here so paranoid about warranties going void? They're selling you a performance machine, so what's the big deal if you like to take it around the track once in a while? That's not grounds to void a warranty. I know you're joking around but there was another thread where some dude was thinking that replacing the muffler would void your whole car's warranty!

It falls under the warranty clause "Vehicle used in competition events". They CAN deny your warranty work. Just unlikely tho.

Yes it was a joke, but it also has a serious connotation. (edit: about the warranty work)

I was just about to send out my renewal as well. I don't think I've ever missed one of Andy's Jokes - but I can't call this one.

Errr, track days that are "driver training" opportunities would not necessarily constitute "used in competition events", would they??
