you should be ok driving on studless to fairbanks as long as your tires still have good siping on them. it will be a take it easy drive anyways i would hope. studded ftw

It's snowing like mad off Huffman right now...HUGE ummm, can't really call em flakes...globs of snow. Starting to stick to roofs and lawns. Roads are good still, though.

im sure if i can drive in snow and ice in a 2300lbs RWD car on summer tyres you'll be fine in a 3000+ lbs AWD car with abs and all those other fancy high tech gizmos

Anybody recommend good places to get studded snow tires? Was thinking of going to Sams but then i don't know cause sense my car has tires pressure sensors i don't know if you need some one specialized to take the tires on/off my rims without damaging the tire pressure sensors on my rims. Would you guys think Sams Club can do it or would i have to go to Subaru Continental?
