Exclamation Custom EWG Uppipe/DP setup! Just one, ready to go... check it out!

SOLD!!!

To fill a need for an EWG uppipe setup that does not dump straight under the car (excessive noise, etc), we made a few of these setups. I have this final one left. It was going to go on my car but, frankly, I'm broke so it's up for sale now

I would have been thermal barrier coating everything for my car, but I'm putting it up for sale uncoated as in the pics and we're offering our Crucial metallic ceramic thermal barrier coating as an option... this way the buyer has a choice.

So, what we have here is:

GrimmSpeed EWG Uppipe
Turbonetics Evolution External Wastegate (comparable to Tial 38mm but with better exhaust flow)
HKS Downpipe (full length, catless)
Custom fabrication work to smoothly merge dump tube back into exhaust, including high quality Vibrant turbo flex section.

FITS 2002-2007 WRX, STI, SAAB 9-2X, FORESTER XT

Price: $800. Or, with Crucial thermal barrier coating on downpipe & uppipe, $950.

Shipping: TBD based on your address. Exact FedEx Ground/Home (or other method if you prefer) cost is all we will charge. We're in San Francisco, CA and I'd expect it to be about $45 to ship to the East Coast. Less, down to about $20 on the West Coast, as you get closer.

And, of course, if you'd like to roll this into a package deal with any of the catbacks we carry (Crucial, Vibrant, HKS, APEXi, & more) or our P&P&C manifolds, etc etc etc we'd love to help you out with that. We have KILLER pricing on these catbacks already

you really need to mass produce this down pipe and dump tube.
i think many people are looking for EWG without the loud noise

I also think it's a product that somebody really should make since I believe it will fill a large demand. BUT.... nobody has actually expressed interested in purchasing this setup yet. Honestly, I thought it would go FAST. But, nothing... no offers or requests for more info or pictures or anything

I was definitely VERY excited to get this on my car. It'll give all of the power and response as dumping to atmosphere with none of the noise. This is a GOOD setup! Somebody's gotta take advantage of this and pick it up. There literally is only one.

Although I do have an extra Turbonetics Evolution wastegate. So if somebody needs a GREAT wastegate that they can use in any application that is made for a Tial 38mm gate, I have one for sale, and on sale!

I would be all for it...but the ewg isnt v-band. v-band is the only way to go with an ewg.

ehhh.... all the v-band EWG's are too large for 99% of people (In fact, I really don't think you can make enough power with a stock-location turbo to justify going with a larger wastegate than this one). I know v-band is cool because it has basically no chance of leaking, but Turbonetics has true flat flanges and it includes a very nice gasket. It's no more likely to leak than any other flange-to-flange connection on your car. Actually, I'd say less likely because of how small the flanges are in diameter. They're 1/2" thick and the bolts that hold them together are very close, so you have a lot of pressure concentrated around the middle sealing area. I don't see any problems here. V-Band is awesome, but having normal flanges is not an issue. Don't get roped into spending $200 more on your wastegate for things you don't actually need because of marketing $0.02....
