the cycle time on that lope is really long- its got to be something more than just the cams, like the ECU?

does sound good, though.

you never posted this, but what are the specs on the cams? 280/276? 282/282? They sound mean as hell man...

Also, you made this power on the gruppe-s header? How do you like it?

I want to know what kind of camshafts! Custom Kelfords? GSC S3's? Actually an Equal Length Headers + Cams does sound like that. It sounds very similar to my brothers Evo VIII

All i'll say is that they are bigger than all you've mentioned I love the sound of it!
When i changed to the equal lenth header i picked up roughly 50whp and 50 ft. lbs. of torque in the mid range

bigger than 282? how kelford doesn't make them or do they?

so the gruppe-s header was no good? or you're saying that the gruppe-s header is equal length and that's what made you gain that kind of power? I still don't even think it sounds equal length though. lol

Whats the duration at .050 of those big cams?
The BC 272's I bought for my motor build are 222 i/e actual... The advertised doesn't mean a whole lot.

I'm just throwing the question out to anyone with big big cams.. like bigger than the 280's.. whats the actual duration at .050? this thread got me curious...

Not to get too off topic with that though....

whats your lift.....

lift is more important than duration.

stg4 crower's at .50 are 232 in and ex with .413 lift.

I have more than that.....

I had a gruppe-s uel header and changed to a gruppe-s el header and picked up the power in the mid.
