That's it, I'm ditching my gruppe-s UEL and buying the EL.

When my car grows up it is gonna make pump gas power like this one

The powerband is a good hint. How it climbs all the way to the top without drastic fluxuations (althought that is probably mostly the cams) but the sound is a dead give away...

Probably true, but regarding headders and exhaust manifolds, if you have unequal length then you will get the classic boxer sound because the exhaust pulses from the "even" bank (cylinders 2 & 4) take about 2x the time to travel along their pipes and meet up with the exhaust pulses from the "odd" bank (cylinders 1 & 3)... When the even pulses finally get there they are combined with the odd pulses at roughly the same location thereby making one large "pop" instead of the common 4 cylinder sound... You can immediately tell that his header (whatever the brand) is equal length, or pretty close to it, because you hear alot more pulses and not the common "blub blub blub" sound that Subarus normally make...

Thanks, i can't wait to go to the track, that car is now fully stock again and all the fast parts are going in another, the transition is taking longer than i had anticipated.
Just a little update on what the major hold ups are......
New weldon fuel pump system......was double walbros
changing out brake lines and eliminating the abs pump
need 07' gear ratio's
would like to get 16" rims that weighs around 11lbs
last but not least, old age! don't work as fast as i use to
